About this property

Located in a beautifully private wooded area, our Woods Cabin is the ideal location for peaceful and romantic getaways. The Woods Cabin features a single bedroom with a queen bed.

While staying here, you will have all the necessary accommodations for a comfortable stay. There is a complete kitchen containing an electric range, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, and all essential pots, pans, and dishes. There is also a dining table and seating available in the kitchen area.

The living room has a seasonal gas fireplace (closes April 30th for the season) and HDTV for your streaming purposes, DVD and CD player with several DVDS, a sofa, and a small table. The Woods Cabin also has internet access for guests. All linens and towels are provided (we provide one bath towel set and one hot tub towel for each registered guest). Flannel sheets are available upon request.

Outside of the cabin, there is a screened front porch and a private rear deck. A charcoal grill is available for cooking. Also located outside is a fire ring and a private, covered hot tub. Both firewood and charcoal can be purchased and made available upon request.

All-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle recommended during the winter months.

Absolutely Amazing!!

We absolutely loved this location, it was quiet and secluded which was exactly what we were looking for!! Short drive times to visiting parks and caves, also has its own hiking trails at the location. Very intimate and beautiful!!

Super secluded, had everything we needed right there at the cabin and even when we did need something the town wasn't even that far. I loved the on site trails, the privacy, and the peaceful atmosphere. Will totally come again!

Bucket List - Hocking Hills

Hocking Hills has been on our bucket list for a few years. This is the year we put together a plan. Communication with the owner was excellent! She was very accessible whenever we had a question. We chose Woods Cabin as there was only two of us. There was a map of trails that were on the property that we could walk. We were also given/sent a lot of information on Hiking, Attractions, Restaurants, Grocery Stores and Hocking Hill State Park. We chose a few cave hikes and a major hike at Conkles Hollow. We planned campfires/cookouts each night. We visited the local Antique Mall. It was all very enjoyable and we actually ran out of time before we ran out of things to do!

Secluded Cabin in the woods

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful cabin with a hot tub. We especially enjoyed how peaceful the area was and seeing all the wildlife. You wake up have your coffee with the deer right outside your door. I definitely recommend the Woods cabin and will be staying there again soon.

Amazing cabin in the woods

The cabin in the woods was beyond amazing. Hot tub was perfect in every way, even the morning we left as it had frosted that morning but we still jumped in and enjoyed the heat with the cold at our heads. Definitely recommend for a couple only, not enough room for three.

Perfect couple’s retreat

The Woods cabin was just what we wanted for a get away retreat. The cabin is cozy, we enjoyed the wonderful hot tub and surrounding hiking trails! Booking the cabin was easy and the hosts provided information and directions to make check-in and departure effortless. They provided local information for attractions and trails nearby that came in extremely helpful. Perfect for us.

We loved the secluded feeling. It rained a lot during our stay, but the cabin was the PERFECT cozy hangout. We appreciated being able to have the football games on TV, but we were also entertained by deer and turkeys that came around in the morning. It IS fall, and true to its name, some acorns fell on the roof throughout the night, so if you’re a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs, but I loved falling asleep listening to the rain in such a comfortable bed. Check-in was seamless. Check-out/cleaning requests were all typical and very reasonable. We have stayed at a few different cabins in the area over the years but this one may be my current favorite.

This property was better than expected, the hot tub is nearly new and very clean, the cabin itself was very clean, the grill is a park model and very well built. It was the little things that we noticed that made a big difference to us.

50th Wedding Anniversary

Great location, nice little cabin! The only thing that would have made it better was if the security light on the circular drive that came on every evening was turned off. Having that light shine in our faces while sitting on the side porch or around the campfire was annoying.

Excellent Property

Location was everything I wanted it to be -- quiet and secluded, and not far from everything we wanted to see. The cabin was clean and modern. I would gladly stay here again. Pro tip: it's so quiet that something like a raccoon walking through the woods nearby at 2am can convince you that there's a person out there. If you're going to hit the hot tub late at night, take a flashlight out for reassurance. :)

Quiet and secluded

Cabin is made for 2. It was quiet,secluded and clean. Just the trees and birds while lounging in the hot tub. Internet was available and reliable.Walked on one trail. Built fire and roasted marshmallows. Marshmallow sticks and lighter available. Wood to buy was available at cabin we brought our own but I think I’d take advantage of delivery next time. Bed comfortable. We did no cooking. Restaurants a little bit of a drive. Spent 2days which I’d recommend to really wind down.

It is very private , there are some trails under construction on the property, the other rentals on this property (2) you can only see as you drive passed them as you go to the top of this property where The Woods Cabin is located
