Beach Shack is a small one bedroom one bath condo just remolded, steps to the ocean, has a queen bed in bedroom, has a futon in living area. Great get away spot. Watch the rocket launches from the beach only 15-20 minutes from Kennedy Space Center, 30 minutes from all the theme parks Disney, MGM studios, universal, Sea World, 30 minutes from Orlando airport. Visit Ron Jons famous surf shop, take a offshore fishing trip only minutes away at Port Canaveral, gambling boat, great eating establishments, watch the cruise ships come and go. All linens and towels provided, boogie board, sand toys.

Overall Nice-ish

The condo was clean & stocked with plenty of utensils to prepare & eat food. There were plenty of towels & some beach gear. The short walk to the beach was by far my favorite part of the condo. Everything that the owner of the condo could control was nice, unfortunately there were disappointing features (out of owner control) that impacted our stay. We read all the reviews before we chose this condo, it was repeatedly mentioned that whoever can smell the cigarette smoke must have a sensitive sense of smell. This is absolutely untrue. We believe one of the neighbors may smoke in their condo & that is the cause of the smell. It was truly horrendous... My husband & I are previous smokers so cigarette smoke doesn't phase us too much but every time we opened the door it was quite disagreeable. It is unfortunate because I really am not sure how the owner could help with this issue & I hate to drop the review down because of something out of their control. Additionally, there was no mention that there would be ongoing construction during our stay. We were woken up every morning with construction workers talking loudly, blaring music & loud construction noises. Again, out of owner control but still impacted our stay & we would've appreciated a heads up about it beforehand. Parking spots are tight. There was one night out of six with no available parking. Ultimately, we did not care to be in the condo longer than necessary because of the smell & construction.

Likes: Great location. Cute little condo. Clean. Dislikes: Very loud construction work right outside door. Very limited parking and sometimes none at all. Smoke smell infused in the interior not from outside.

Small, comfy, retreat

My only complaint was the plug in the bathtub didn't work and there was very little hot water. Otherwise it was great.

This apartment was as described. But the code has been engraved into the door security system. It is clear the host does not change the code between guests.
