About the host
Hosted by Stephanie Hunter
My husband, Jason, and I are the parents of 7 active kids, six of which are at home. They are lively, but respectful of others and usually quiet during our guests stay. We love to meet new people and travel to new places. Having previously owned a video store, we enjoy movies, specifically science fiction, action, history, comedy, and romance. We enjoy good books, especially classics and all kinds of music. We love to explore national parks, especially Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks as they are so close.
We would love to host you! With six kids at home between the ages of 6 and 20, our home can be busy, so we are usually up later in the evenings. We prefer to meet our guests at the door, and are available for questions. We love to talk about the area you will be visiting and what there is to do and see. Please feel free to ask us questions!
Our motto is "Life is a journey, not a destination". We believe that everyone should live and enjoy life to its fullest and remember to stop and smell the roses, and look up at the beauty around them along the way.

Why they chose this property
We chose to purchase a home in St. Anthony because we love the quiet hometown feeling of the area. Jason grew up here and we both love the town and the residents. This area is wonderful as it is close to so many outdoor activities! We have enjoyed hiking in Yellowstone National Park, visiting Craters of the Moon and pretending we are on a live volcano, biking down the road between Driggs and Victor with an awe inspiring view of the Tetons, fishing, kayaking, and swimming in the Henry's Fork of the Snake River, sledding down the Sand Dunes in the winter, and being inspired by the majesty of the water at Mesa Falls and Cave Falls.
What makes this property unique
We fell in love with the uniqueness of our property despite that it is in the middle of town. We love the inlaid wood scattered on the main house. We love the flexibility our home has offered us during the years. Our children love the attic where they can escape from others. We especially love sitting in the living room or porch and watching the squirrels play in the silver maples and apple trees. This apartment is an especial favorite of ours as we sometimes use it as a quiet get-a-way when it is empty.
This particular guesthouse was a senior project of our oldest son. Once an outbuilding, imagine our surprise when we discovered that it was structurally set up already to be a finished living space. Over the last 5 years we have remodeled this space to have the feel of a cozy cabin. Other guests have commented that this space feels surprisingly removed from the hustle and bustle of in town life, and very private.
