NEW LISTING Elegant seaside apartment on the platinum West Coast

This property is located just steps from the beautiful Fitts Village beach with its own private pathway to the beach. ( literally 30 strides/steps)

It is divided into 2 apartments - a 2 bedroom and a studio. (Studio is rented long term and is on part of bottom level )

The two bedroom townhouse is on two levels.
BOTTOM FLOOR:
This floor has the kitchen, dining and an outdoor garden patio with lounging and a Bbq area.
TOP FLOOR: : The top floor has two beautifully decorated bedrooms ( both AC and ceiling fan) each with a full ensuite bathroom and walk in closet. The indoor sitting area is casual beach and very comfortable ( with smart TV /basic cable and overhead ceiling fan) and opens up to a covered outdoor verandah which has sitting and dining ( ceiling fan). Enjoy spectacular sunsets from this verandah.

Note: The House does get some road noise

Magical

A truly amazing and beautiful place. Cannot beat the sunsets. Great snorkeling only steps from property. Thank you Debbie for making our vacation a trip to remember.

An amazing stay at Alvaro

I can’t say enough about Alvaro and the hosts of this amazing home. We stayed at Alvaro for 5 nights and loved every minute of it. Being steps from the beach and having a gorgeous balcony to enjoy the evenings was a highlight for us. The property was safe, easily accessible, within walking distance to a grocery store and was fully stocked with everything you could need during your stay. The welcome basket and homemade rum punch was a fantastic welcoming treat. We read other reviews about road noise, but we didn’t experience any of it, likely because the home is made of stone and each bedroom had a bathroom between the room and the main road. Thank you Debbie (and Rosie!) for a memorable stay. We love Barbados and will definitely be back to stay again in Alvaro or one of your other beautiful homes!

Barbados family getaway

Excellent communication and easy check in. Welcome grocery basket and rum punch were a lovely touch. This is a typical older style Caribbean property not ultra modern living, lots of space over 2 levels. It is set just off the main road and therefore you will get road noise as the owners highlighted however this was not an issue for us. 5 minutes from supermarket and within easy reach of Holetown and bars and restaurants, beach chairs towels and cooler box available to use an ideal base from which to explore the island.

Refreshed & Recharged

A big thank you to Debbie, Rosie & Brian, they were truly wonderful hosts who were always on hand for anything we could possibly need. The property is large enough to entertain guests without feeling crowded, plenty of parking too. I have family on the island and we were able to have them round for dinner. I had read all the excellent reviews before our trip and after spending a week at Alvaro there’s nothing I can say that hasn’t already been said about the property, amenities, location etc. I highly recommend Alvaro, the property and the hosts will surpass your expectations. Brian & I are both Barbadians going back a few generations and have been married for 21 years.We operate a dairy farm on the island at our Plantation in St. John. We both were educated in Barbados and then furthered our education in London, UK and Canada. We have 3 Children, a boy ( 20 yrs) and 2 girls ( 18 yrs & 13 Yrs) who are avid surfers.
