We usually stay in a hotel in Palm Springs, but we stayed here for a week so that we could have more space for telework and home-schooling, while also being able to visit relatives and see local attractions. The apartment was spacious and clean, and had a large balcony that overlooked a nicely-landscaped courtyard, with a view of the mountains. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen, too. The dining area had a view of the windmills in the distance, which the kids loved. We were able to visit Joshua Tree, Mt. San Jacinto, the Palm Springs Zoo, and a few other attractions without much trouble. Being in Desert Hot Springs added about 20 minutes to most of our trips (versus being in Palm Springs), but it was well worth it for the extra space, privacy, and reasonable price of this apartment.
