Welcome to Casa Azul! This 1930s craftsman Spanish style home has been completely remodeled, giving guests authentic charm with updated amenities. The home consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining room, and an extra sleeping room with daybed and trundle perfect for kids. The modern kitchen has everything you need and is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc. The spacious master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with luxury sheets. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and full closet with pack n play and high chair. The third sleeping room has a twin size day bed and trundle. This room does not have a door, but has a room divider for privacy. The bathroom is fully stocked with towels and accessories. The living room has a flat screen smart television and opens up to a lovely deck with outside seating great for people watching. You will find some board games, puzzles, and toys under the living room coffee table chest. There is a separate dining room with seating for 6. Off the dining room you will find the extra sleeping room.

The kitchen opens up to the backyard with an outdoor dining table with seating for 8. The backyard has a bar area, deck, grill, and tea lights, making it the perfect sanctuary for a relaxing evening. You will find beach chairs, a wagon, umbrella, and a variety of beach toys located in the outdoor storage shed.

There is a full washer and dryer located in a laundry shed with complementary detergent and dryer sheets.

Located just 3 blocks from the beach, with some of the best restaurants, shops, and nightlife steps away including the original OB Noodle House. This location is ideal for anyone looking to explore one of San Diego's most popular beach communities. It is walking distance to the beach and the heart of Ocean Beach. Whether you are looking to relax by the beach or explore the many sites and activities San Diego has to offer, my place offers everything you might need.

The town of Ocean Beach has everything from shopping, restaurants and entertainment in a relaxed beach setting. It is only minutes away from Sea World, Gaslamp District, Little Italy, Old Town, Balboa Park, and La Jolla. Parking is available on the street. There are plenty of bikes and scooters available throughout the neighborhood.

Excellent location in spotless and comfortable home

-comfortable beds and living area -planes do fly over as expected when not far from airport but it was always quiet at night and a non-issue for us -appreciated the provided supplies so did not need to buy things like dishwasher soap etc. -being able to walk only a few minutes for coffee,groceries and restaurants, the beach was so convenient -location was great as used Uber to go downtown , the zoo, La Jolla etc. in only 20 minutes or so -neighborhood is super friendly -would stay again Thanks again Sarah for a great stay!

Great spot in OB!

This home was excellent for our 6 day stay while visiting our daughter and son in law in San Diego. Convenient location to airport and other sightseeing destinations and was great to start and end each day centrally located in Ocean Beach with a short stroll to the beach and some great dining and drink options within walking distance. Would def pick this home for a stay again!

Cute little bungalow

My husband and I simply loved our stay in this cute little bungalow! The house was updated and very comfortable. We worked remotely and the Internet is super fast! It’s walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We especially enjoyed walking to the local farmer’s market (Wednesdays). We picked up fresh bread and fruit for our stay, along with dinner for that night. Sarah was easy to communicate with and the house was equipped with everything we needed - even washing detergent for the washing machine! I wish we could stayed longer. Would highly recommend a stay at this property!

Great little house, great location

Perfect size for our three-person family. We especially loved the kitchen and access to a washer and dryer. Walking distance to excellent restaurants and only minutes from the beach, we would absolutely recommend this property. For those who are sound-sensitive: the house is on a major roadway and the airport air traffic took a minute to get used to but you'll hear the planes almost anywhere in Ocean Beach. These factors wouldn't stop me from staying there again.

Very pleasant house with good location

House is just as advertised--very charming and quaint. There were more features in the home than we had a chance to use--front patio, back patio, bbq, gear. Great access to beach and main thoroughfares. Kitchen fully outfitted. Hostess was very responsive and helpful. Considerations--if you like to have the windows open, the airport traffic will wake you up at 7:30am daily; shared laundry was weird but never had to wait; Point Loma Blvd is a very busy street, so front yard requires close supervision of smaller children. Definitely recommended and will keep in mind on a return trip.

This home is a historical craftsman home that I purchased in 2017. The home was remodeled in 2019 giving it a fresh new look while maintaining the charm of the home. Most of the furniture, bedding, linens, kitchenware, etc are brand new.

Private front and backyard with outdoor living space, dining, grill, and bar area. The home also has a dining room, full kitchen, and office. Located just 3 blocks to the beach with easy access to the highway and all the major sites in San Diego.
