The bad: We received the door code by text, unfortunately, it did not specify that it was for the door upstairs. It took us several phone calls to actually get into the house. The pool, which was the reason we picked this house, had two bandages in the pool. It was very upsetting being that we had two children that were looking forward to swimming. The pool skimmer’s netting was torn off so we couldn’t clean the pool. We called for two days trying to get the property manager to have someone come clean the pool. The pool lady showed up on her own, because of regular routine cleaning, not because the manager had called her in so who knows how long it would have taken to get this handled otherwise. Above all, we were very upset to have lost two days of swimming and that the manager did not get the issue handled in a timely manner. The toilet in the master bathroom runs and you have to work on it after each use. This has been a complaint before but apparently has not been fixed.
The good: The location was excellent. It was a very short walk to the beach. You have a Dollar General and gas station close by. The rooms are roomy, front porch is nice and pool area is amazing.
All in all, we would definitely stay here again. The owners just need to fix a few minor things and the property manager needs to be more responsive.
