An easy 5 stars!
This was our second visit to Angel Fire, and we had a great time staying at this property. The cabin was very well maintained, clean, comfortable, and well equipped (sans a sled for the kids, but we left behind so hopefully others will make as good use of it as our kids did). Let me start by saying that everything in the place was very clean, which we greatly appreciated, especially having little kids. It was also well equipped, with everything you could need in the kitchen, games/movies, and lots of blankets and pillows throughout the property (along with great furnishings including the extremely comfortable couches in the living room). The only negatives for us (and this will depend on your party) was that the upstairs can get quite chilly, especially the little 'kids sleeping nook' and, that the noise (and light) carries upstairs, which means that if someone is trying to go to sleep upstairs before the rest of the house (like kids), every noise can be hard upstairs (down to whispers). This is likely not an issue for most, but in our case it did complicate things slightly. Also, even if you try to close the upstairs shutters, you'll still get a good bit of light bleeding into the upstairs. In essence, you want to make sure that whoever is sleeping upstairs is the last to go to sleep (and first to wake up). But overall, it was a wonderful property, making for an enjoyable stay. An easy recommendation for others! Oh, there's also an awesome brand new deck to enjoy.

Memorable ski trip
Everything was wonderful! My family of 5 stayed for 6 nights. The owner was very responsive to questions and informed me of an issue with the deck prior to coming which was really not an issue for us. The property manager was available by phone to answer any questions. The home was open and ready for us when we arrived.. The kitchen is more than well stocked with everything needed to cook large meals and there are plenty of plates, bowls, glasses/cups and utensils. The only thing I missed having was a large pitcher. My family drinks a lot of tea and there was not one to make it in. The bathrooms had a plentiful amount of towels and we never ran out of hot water. We saw turkeys, deer, squirrels, birds and even a bobcat right outside the dining room window. I definitely would stay here again and would recommend to my friends. I would also recommend arriving before dark because it could be difficult to find in the dark and recommend 4WD if coming in the winter.

We loved our time at this beautiful home in Angel Fire! Very comfortable and kitchen was organized and well equipped. We counted 15 deer outside the porch and we enjoyed feeding them. Highly recommend!

Beautiful mountain side home with deer feeding outside. Easy access to Angel Fire.
This property accommodated our three generations. We loved that upstairs suite that gave our family with babies space and privacy. Our teenage grandson slept in the cubbie bedroom and loved his privacy. Hope we can return again!

Terry and I have been renters of vacation properties all over the world for many years. We have experienced the good and bad of using these sites. Our goal for our renters is to always be fair and make your experience the best possible.

Why they chose this property

We rented this property numerous times in the past few years during the ski season. We always had our entire family with us including kids as young as 6 months old. This property is perfect for families for several reasons. The distance to everything you want to do in Angel Fire is generally 5 miles or less, summer or winter. The yard is perfect for children, and the wildlife is amazing. These are just a few reasons. Reach out to me for more information.
