Just Okay
Property was okay. There are signs all over the house about rules. The TV is super slow (think 10-20 second delay after pushing a button), a few stains on the ceiling and a little moldy smelling (it had rained a lot that weekend) Good things - amazing air conditioning, water pressure and water temperature. We have stayed at many, many vrbos over the years and we never were able to feel truly comfortable at this location.

Family of 5 visit Mammoth Caves and Abraham Lincoln Birthplace
It a great small place that was nice and close for access to Mammoth Caves and other sites in the area. It would be difficult to squeeze many more people in but it was a good size for our family of 5. The kitchen was mostly well stocked but was lacking baking trays or frying pans. Thanks you!

Very close to the caves
Cute little 3 bedroom room house that is very close to mammoth cave. Even a cave in downtown (less than a mile). Quiet neighborhood. Clean and simple home for the week.

Everything we expected
Great location and a great city. We live in a large city in the south and we decided to take a chance on this property for a family vacation. We found that this location was the perfect location for a home base while we explored the area. The house was clean and everything we expected.

Better than the hotel options, big kitchen
We (3 adults, 2 kids) went to visit Mammoth Caves National Park. The hotels that were around were all sold out, so we booked this. So glad we did. It had all the essentials, allowed our kids to have more space and their own room; it was convenient having a full kitchen so we did breakfast and lunch at the house; and at night we were able to log into streaming accounts on the smart tv. Most of the hotel/motels we drove past looked old and sketchy, so I think that was much nicer we stayed here. Host provided easy info to check in.

Great spot to explore the area
This house was a perfect spot to be our base of operations as we explored Mammoth Cave and other caves and parks nearby. This is a small house but it was clean and has a nice full kitchen and bath.

Nice cozy house
We enjoyed the house and the location a lot. Convenient, easy to find location, nicely equipped kitchen, ton of sleeping space, clear communication notes regarding expectation - we had fun in this charming country home. My kids are hard to please when it comes to rental properties and they enjoyed it a lot (I'm pretty sure a bowl of candies and welcome treats have also something to do with it:) ). Thank you!

Cute house
If you want to stay in the heart of cave country this is the place. Quiet neighborhood - yes there are train tracks nearby but it never bothered us and host provides ear plugs as well. Communication was too notch and quick. We struggled to get the lock box open and help arrived quickly so that was good. One small thing I noticed was plants growing in the gutters - cosmetic and easily fixed. Would stay again.

Nice house close to Mammoth Cave
This was a nice location for a visit to Mammoth Cave. The house was clean, good space for the 8 of us, nice basket of snacks provided for the teens in our group. Very close to amenities, about 10 miles from Mammoth Cave, close to a lot of other activities as well. Only concern was we wish we had better cookware (no baking sheets or pans, frying pan handles were broken), but we were able to make it work! Enjoyed our stay!

Clean and comfy
We enjoyed our time in the mammoth Cave area. The house was clean and the beds were amazing. The host provided ear plugs which my grandson used. It was July forth weekend so a ton of fireworks were going off so the ear plugs were a win. Thanks for letting us stay at your house.

Plenty of sleeping space
My family and I stayed in this house while we visited Mammoth Cave. The house is a nice size and has plenty of places to sleep for a large family. The host was easy to communicate with and left us a welcome snack basket and plenty of recommendations. Check in and check out was incredibly easy. I would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the area.

Convenient and Clean
This property is centrally located to many of the area attractions. We visited Kentucky Down under and Hidden River Cave both which were 4 min away. We also went to Dinosaur World, Froggets Guntown Mountian Haunted House, and JB’s Haunted House all within 10-15 min drive. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The snacks that were provided by the host was a nice treat. The host also provided ear plugs due to the nearby train, but it didn’t bother us. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area in the future.

Short spring break trip to Mammoth Cave area
House was clean and we were happy to have more room to spread out than in just a hotel room. There is a train crossing down the road and the host provided earplugs. We live near a train at home so we are used to it and didn't use them--honestly there were very few trains and they aren't loud. Kids enjoyed the mints and snacks left for us. Bathroom could use more towel racks above the toilet and on the wall, and a towel ring by the sink. Or maybe put a folding drying rack in one of the closets for extra towels? The drying rack there was more for clothing on hangers than towels. A curved shower rod would also be nice to add space since the tub is narrow. A hook for clothes on the back of the bathroom door would be nice also. Bathroom is a nice size, though, and so are the bedrooms. My husband would have appreciated a shower head higher on the wall. The towels are very thin and small, so you may want to consider bringing your own if you like fluffy towels. The beds were firm as well as the pillows. Bring your own pillow if you like squishy pillows. After over 15,000 steps at Mammoth Cave I slept fine! The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cups, pots and pans, coffee making supplies (including coffee, filters, and powdered creamers), a full size fridge, oven and stove, microwave, etc. Be aware that there is no dishwasher, and anything you use will need to be hand-washed. We remedied this with a quick trip to the IGA for paper plates, cups, and napkins. There is no access to a washer and dryer, but we didn't need it for a long weekend. Overall a great stay and a nice getaway for the 4 of us.
