About this property

Bass Lake at Cedar Ridge - Pet Friendly

Summer is officially in the Mountains and with that comes hot weather, lots of sun, bears, and insects. Our cabin is close enough to enjoy the hiking trails of Yosemite and surrounding areas; boating at Bass Lake and then coming back to relax with the whole family at our peaceful and restful place in the mountains of Bass Lake. Enjoy the deck with a place to BBQ, and sit around an outdoor dining table, and then relax on the outdoor furniture and roasting marshmallows over the firepit all while gazing at the stars. The outdoor deck also comes equipped with a patio heater if it gets too chilly. Inside you will find a pool table waiting for those who want to show their skill at billiards.
What you will find as you enter our Mountain Home is a tastefully decorated living room where you can relax and watch some TV while the fireplace is going or enjoy a game of billiards. The kitchen is stocked with all types of cooking gadgets including a rice cooker.

Thanksgiving at Bass Lake
For the last three years, my family has rented a cabin at Bass Lake for Thanksgiving. We absolutely loved our stay at Cedar Ridge. The house was very clean and while some of the supplies (housewares) was a bit limited, we had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and cozy, and the furniture and decor were super nice. There is a pool table which was used by my three guys the entire stay. We had no issues whatsoever, but when I did message Linda, she was very attentive and replied right away. We will definitely look into coming back!

I have been coming up to Yosemite since I was 10 years old and, on this trip, I decided that the outdoors and being out in the trees was a place I would want to have a home someday.
Together with my husband, two years ago, my childhood dream came to pass and now we have a home in the mountains surrounded by beautiful trees. We built this dream of mine and now are able to share this home with our family, friends and you - our guests.
We hope you enjoy our home and make memories of your very own and plan on making it a traditional vacation place annually.

Why they chose this property

Our home is in the Bass Lake mountains surrounded by trees close enough to civilization and away from the city life. We chose this home because it is close enough to Bass Lake to enjoy lake life and also close enough to the Magnificent Yosemite National Park.
When you come to stay, you have a choice of many activities to enjoy outside the home, and also a place to rest and relax.

What makes this property unique

When I first saw this home, I was drawn to the unique fireplace where you can see and enjoy it from anywhere in the living room, dining room, or playing pool. The view you see from the upstairs looking down into the living room is beautiful. The fireplace keeps you warm during the winter months and makes for a cozy gathering.
