Mellow Yellow is a cozy, family cottage located in the center of Seagrove Beach. This charming house sleeps 6 with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a large open living area where everyone can enjoy time together. The front wraparound screened porch is loaded with comfortable furniture so you can enjoy the evening's balmy breezes. The backyard is fenced, has a paver area and outdoor shower.

This home has been thoughtfully decorated, including the littlest of details. You'll love the warm cozy feel at this home-away-from home. Enjoy relaxing in the evenings in the living area and snuggling up for a movie night after a long day at the beach. The TVs are outfitted with TiVo and Rokus. Dine at the table or head outside to the fenced-in back yard to enjoy a some dinner al fresco.

White picket fences adorn the well-kept lawns as you take a leisurely walk to this Seagrove Beach neighborhood pool. You will feel right at home in this cozy community of Gulf Mist beach cottages located directly across Scenic 30A from the beautiful beaches of South Walton. Make your way just down 30A to the beach access and you'll have your toes in the sand within minutes.

SEAGROVE BEACH
Named for the thick grove of oak trees lining its coastline, Seagrove Beach is located in the heart of 30A. There's no better spot to experience everything 30A has to offer! Feeling adventurous? Rent a bike and jump on the 20-mile Timpoochee bike trail that runs right around the corner from the neighborhood. Visit famous Seaside and Grayton Beach State Park to the West. Head East and discover more of Seagrove Beach plus the wonderful coastal communities of Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach. Enjoy exploring the boutique shops, fabulous restaurants, and beautiful state parks in each of these communities.

A Benchmark welcome bag and initial starter kit of amenities are provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, and 1 liner for each trashcan. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom, plus 2 washing machine pods.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: “Mellow Yellow” has some great amenities such as quiet residential type location, walkability to the beach and stocked kitchen utensils, but those things were overshadowed for us by the general conditions of the furniture, rugs, floors, and woodwork in the house. The upholstery on the kitchen stools and living room chairs was stained and dirty and had an odor. The floors and rugs were visibly very dirty. The shower door leaked and water from the shower leaked onto the floor. After reading the review of Robert S. from November 2023 which listed the same problem, we contacted Benchmark and were reassured that the home would be “clean and sanitized.” This, along with Benchmark’s statement from the previous review (Robert S. posted November 2023) that the issues were being “actively addressed with our cleaning and maintenance teams” and that “we are committed to rectifying these oversights,” made us feel that we could move forward with our trip. Once we arrived and saw the dirty conditions, we lost confidence in Benchmark’s ability to deal with us in an honest way. Nearly five months have passed since the previous review, and these problems have not been addressed. Not a good experience for us.

Amazing Property & Great Location

We couldn't be more impressed with the house. We thoroughly enjoyed the layout, beds were comfortable, living space was large and cozy. The property was clean and clean. The screened porch was such a bonus. Benchmark Management was very attentive, communicated from booking throughout A+ all around

Seaside visit in Mid-October

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After residing in the Sarasota, Fl. area for 25 years, we were impressed with the laidback atmosphere of Seaside and the beautiful beach. BUT, was very disappointed with the overall cleanliness and overall condition of “Mellow Yellow”. The living room furniture and kitchen bar stool covers were filthy and very worn. The shower door in the Master Bath was out of alignment and would not close. The bath floor grout was dirty with lots of mildew present. Basically, the entire property needed a general cleaning with paint touch up. I was not only surprised that Benchmark would allow this unit to be rented in this condition but was amazed that the owners of this home would allow their property to be rented in this very negative condition. Fantastic stay at Mellow Yellow!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Mellow Yellow for our family spring break 2023. We normally stay oceanfront, but decided on something different for this trip and we were not disappointed. Mellow Yellow was very, very clean, had a well-stocked kitchen and so close to the beach (a 5 minute walk door-to-beach chair). It was great space for our family of 3, our teenagers loved having their own rooms, and could easily accomodate 3 couples. The family room and kitchen was big enough to host their friends for dinner, with a fantastic screened-in porch and outside area out back for grilling and eating dinner. The family room furniture was extremely comfortable, and could easily seat 6-8 people. It was an easy walk into Seaside (about 1 mile) and the paths were great for biking, running or walking. Benchmark was very easy to work with, loved the communications and when we needed something (a new propane tank for the grill) we received it that day. I will point out that starter supplies like hand soap, bath soap, shampoo and kitchen items are there, but you do need to bring additional depending on your length of stay. Additionally, the dishwasher at this house only does a traditional half-load at a time, so bring a lot of diswasher pods if you eat in a lot (which we did). We would definitely rent through Benchmark and this house again because of it's cleanliness, spaciousness, location in Seagrove, so near the beach, and other amenities.
