perfect location for us!!
We loved all of it! Hot tub was great on the colder nights, kids loved the game room, bathroom jetted tub was like a spa visit, we were in downtown in seconds, up high enough that we flhad thenmountain feel, but at the bottom of the hill was the best pancake house “flapjacks.”. We loved Whole Earth grocery, too. Short drive through town and immediately in the Smokys on a gorgeous dog-friendly trail where my 12 & 16 year old soent HOURS. It was delightful. Maybe one of our all time favorite vacations. The Vinson will be a repeat visit for us!

False communication
The cabin it's self was fine. However the hot tub would not heat up. It stayed at 64 degrees. I contacted property management immediately the first night. We were staying for 3 nights. I was assured someone would be by in the morning to fix it. They never came. I inquired that afternoon and was told someone would come by days end. Nothing. The next day, the same lies. It was NYE and our plan was to be in the hot tub at midnight with a cocktail to ring in the New Year. Our plans were ruin. My final message from property management was "Sorry for the inconvenience". Thanks for nothing.

Pet Friendly but Nowhere to walk Pets
I’d like to start off saying this cabin was beautifully decorated and cozy. The beds are a little uncomfortable (especially the master on the first floor) but the home, overall, was nice and quaint. If you have pets, beware. This home is settled on the edge of a very high mountain so you gotta watch your pets closely so they don’t slip off the edge and hurt themselves. There is nowhere to walk them around the property and if you walk up the inclined road if front of the house you gotta watch for tourist vans and RTVs speeding around the corner. It was pretty dangerous to walk my dogs anywhere. We did love the hot tub and balcony overlooking Gatlinburg. I’d stay here again just not with pets.
