Nice location for a getaway

Beach Getaway

Apartment was just as it was pictured. Keyless entry is very convenient. Only issue I have is the check-in/out times are really late and too early compared to other Vrbos we have stayed in.

Close to beach

We had a great time! Property was very clean and beds were very comfy. Fairly close to the beach. May be a long walk with younger kids with lots of chairs and beach toys, so a wagon would definitely help. As the other reviews have mentioned, the road and neighbor noise is real. However, while talking with your own family or watching tv it’s really no more noticeable as with any other apartment. Plus, they have a white noise machine that drowned out any road noise while sleeping, it worked perfectly 👌🏻The one and only complaint…no light fixture above the bathroom mirrors, that’s hard for us ladies to put makeup on and fix hair ;) The shower light and fan light weren’t enough, but we survived. Overall was a great visit, we plan to come back in the future! Thank you!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I gave this a 4-star rating but it is either a 5-star rental or a 3-star rental, totally depending on the renters in the adjacent unit. It is a new, clean, well-furnished, comfortable unit in an excellent location. And the Southern Hospitality benefits are excellent and can be a real money-saver. The only issue is that it has very little, if any, soundproofing. For the first few days of our stay the adjacent unit was empty and it was ideal. We could still hear some muted conversation from the downstairs property management office but it wasn't bad and only during normal business hours. However, for the last few days of our stay some guests checked in next door and we could basically hear every conversation and all other noises from their group. So this rental would be ideal for a group that wants to rent two adjacent units. Or, if you don't mind hearing your neighbors then everything else is great. Otherwise, it is a bit of a flip of a coin as to whether Unit B is rented and, if so, who it is rented to.

Very clean

Great place about ten minute walk from the beach. They wouldn’t provide a dish sponge when I asked for one because they said they would have to replace it after each guest. Seems they could afford to do that considering what they charge per night.

Apartment was very new and clean beds are comfortable bathrooms were clean Kitchen is more like kitchenette Kitchen ware was so small we have to constantly wash the dishes since it was not extra to use But overall it was good Also there was no elevator transfers stuff was in convenient

Immaculate, spacious property walking distance to beach

This unit was immaculate. Appeared to be brand new and well maintained. Huge entryway/hallway. The kitchen, living area, bedrooms, and closets were also surprisingly spacious! Private parking lot, property is right off a main road but you could hardly tell, there are large trees in between the house and the road. We rented bikes for our stay so it was an easy and enjoyable ride to the beach access; there’s a bike trail that runs all the way down to the access point that was shaded. There was a hose set up on the porch outside the front doors so we could rinse off any remaining sand from the beach before entering. We didn’t have any issues during our stay. The public beach access itself is not the nicest; it’s a long haul down a sandy trail to the actual beach, no mats or boardwalk.

Excellent stay for the weekend

Property is clean and the check in process super easy. The rental company was super helpful and accessible. No issues with the place. Even though it’s right on HH parkway it’s actually very quiet, so no issues there either. Location is very nice as it’s a quick and direct walk to Burke’s beach. I would highly recommend

Clean Beach

Great stay, great place, Beach is a 6 min walk. I would get beach cruisers that go on sand to go to the beach . There is about a 3 block area of sand before you get to the beach you walk on before you walk on to the actual beach. If your in fair shape then it’s no big deal . Lots of skillet sizes, ninja blender, plates for 4 etc... several grocery stores in short driving distance. Nice washer and dryer . Very clean and upscale. Beach is really nice and family friendly. Two beach loungers and umbrella to rent a day but after 1:00 half price. Made all the difference in the world , pay the life guard. Make sure to go to Java Burrito, skull creek boathouse you won’t be sorry. Definitely will stay in this great place again.

New Condo close to beach access

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay at this new 2 bedroom condo. It is situated on top of the VHHI office. 2 parking spaces are provided in the lot for the unit. There is a bike rack to lock up your bikes. Everything was clean and new. Public beach access is about a 5 block walk. Property is next to park. Rental office was quick to respond to any needs. Only a few items missing from property that they provided very quickly. I would suggest they add blinds to the front and back doors as well as both bedroom windows. There were temporary blinds in the unit for the windows but not the doors which left the unit feeling a little exposed. The refrigerator is a decent size but not full size. No ice maker in unit, just trays. Can't wait to return!

Month Long Stay

We spent one month at this property and it was so convenient for us. Clean, new and comfortable. Short walk to the beach, conveniently located to all the shops and restaurants. Can't wait to come back in the next few months.
