Welcome to The Landings by the Sea; the Family Home overlooks the waterway in Fort Lauderdale. This fully furnished Villa with an open concept is perfect for indoor and outdoor entertaining. This large beautiful home has five bedrooms and four bathrooms, Wi-Fi, and TVs in all the bedrooms. Spacious living and 'Sports Room include billiard and three flat-screen TVs. Fully Equipped Gourmet Kitchen. Electrically heated pool, large patio, ample seating for al fresco dining and BBQ.
The house is in a prestigious neighborhood called 'The Landings," minutes from shopping and restaurants and a short distance to the beaches and entertainment area.

Hop, Skip, and a Jump from the Sea!

When your decision to beach vs. pool is the toughest decision you make all week, you know it was an awesome week! We stayed with two sets of grandparents, family of 5 with 3 young kids, and a fun uncle! Plenty of space!! Loved the security alarms on the doors leading out to the pool - totallly eased my worries with having young children so close to the pool. Everything was super smooth with communication and we got all of our questions answered quickly. The neighborhood was safe and quiet and beautiful to walk/run around. We did rent a couple of cars which was necessary as the beach is too far too walk to with young kids. They had many extra amenities ready for our young kids (beach toys, floaties, umbrella stroller, crib, pack and play, booster) which was so helpful! Someone even left extra size 5 diapers and we left a small life jacket (in good shape!) There were a few odd sounds coming from the toilet running next to the guest rooms on the west side - only in the evening - but they didn’t happen all the time so we tried our best to ignore! Might be worth checking into. We asked the property manager to adjust the AC halfway through the trip and I wish we would have known to ask earlier as the west side of the home was warm in the evenings. Finally, I was confused about the damage deposit and ended up purchasing extra insurance/coverage thinking this was mandatory. Know that you will be charged a temporary damage deposit anyway so not necessary to purchase the extra.

As close to perfect as you're going to find

Ive been renting in Fla every Feb for the last 10 years. I always wait until the last minute and end up having the find a different house. I found this one late. Before i checked in i said to a friend that if this is 1/2 as good as the pictures show, ill be happy. The pictures are 100% on point. There are a few things that could probably be addressed by the owner but all in all, this has everything you could need. I cook every day. The kitchen isnt too big but it had virtually everything i needed. One thing i have found with rentals is the knives always suck. Plenty of good knives, silverware, plates etc. Sabrina the property manager was on top of everything and responded to texts immediately. It is a rental house so it likely wont be exactly what you want but i dont think you'll find anything better.

We had a very nice time despite the weather. The house is big, and the pool is amazing! The kitchen was stocked with everything we might need, and the beds were super comfortable. The only negatives I can think of were the bath towels and lack of basic supplies. Happy to pay a little more for some extra garbage bags, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc. We were stressed to immediately get to the store. Those small things would have made the stay feel a touch more luxurious. Thank you for having us!
