Neskowin Gem - Beach Front Property

If a stay in a cozy beach cabin full of character sounds like fun, this Neskowin vacation rental is for you! With ocean views from the house and easy beach access just steps away directly across from Proposal Rock, this home will help you get the most out of your coastal adventure.

This quaint cabin has an efficient floor plan that makes the most of the limited space. It features 2 bedrooms both with queen beds. The front bedroom has a view of the ocean and private door to the deck. The upstairs loft is accessible by a steep stair case, is an ideal place for children to play, and has the best view of the house! The loft is complete with 2 built in twin beds each with their own reading light, built in shelving complete with USB charging port.

Next to the living room is an intimate dinning area with seating for 6 where your guests can sit and eat a nice meal together while telling stories and laughing together.

The full kitchen, just around the corner is well stocked with all the tools you need to cook up a hearty dinner after a day at the beach. And, with a stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and even a blender, you will have no trouble feeding your hungry vacationers.

The one-and-a-half bathrooms are also located on the main level, and one features a gorgeous claw-foot bathtub that would be great for a nice, relaxing bubble bath!

Outside, the large deck offers amazing ocean views, patio furniture and a gas grill. Steps down from the deck your will find an outdoor fire pit that is the perfect evening activity. Just a short, 100' walk will take you to the edge of the sand, where you will be directly in front of the famous Proposal Rock, Neskowin's most recognizable landmark.

Neskowin creek, which flows into the ocean just adjacent to the house is an amazing place to explore, and build sandcastles. You may choose to go for a walk along the beach, wade across the creek towards the café for a hot drink or take a nice stroll through Neskowin Village. This is very child friendly area without busy roads or crowds of people.

Perfect Location

Well loved, great beds, fire pit was great. The only reason we will not return is that the steps are too high for our two little dogs.

Lovely!

I hesitate to say how lovely this property is because I don’t want the price to go crazy! But it really is lovely. It feels like a lived in home in the best way. Clean, all the things you need, and a fantastic location. The kids loved the loft space, and we all loved that we could walk out the door and be on the sand in seconds. Thanks for a lovely stay!!

Wonderful any time of year

We’ve been to Family Tides in the summer and had a great time. This was our first trip in winter. The northern Oregon coast can be pretty wet and cold this time of year, and we had our share of that. But there was also several sunny days to walk on the beach and enjoy hikes in the area, and fires in the front yard fire pit. During the rainy days the house was cozy and warm. We enjoyed fires in the wood stove and views of proposal rock out the front window while playing cribbage. We also enjoyed meals at Pelican Bay Brewery in nearby Pacific City and shopping at the Outlet Mall in Lincoln. Yes Family Tides is enjoyable all year around, but don’t pass that on, or we’ll never be able to get reservations when we want them!

What makes this property unique

No need to step away from the cabin to enjoy being at the Oregon coast, the view from the living room is great for all seasons. The house is warm and cozy with the option of the wood stove on a gloomy day, yet the large deck and fire pit are great for hanging out during drier times. With a gated entrance the beach access feels like a private beach.
