Nestled on 37 acres within BirdSong Retreat, the Roadrunner is one of three guest houses inviting you to explore the untouched beauty of this remarkable area. Our aim is to provide you with an elevated vacation experience, offering luxurious and cozy accommodations designed with your holistic well-being in focus: mind, body, and spirit.

Experience the tranquil silence, broken only by the distant howls of coyotes and the soft chirping of crickets. Lose yourself in the vast night sky, adorned with countless stars. Zen Experience

Lovely setting with beautiful vistas and amenities. Did not use the pool or fire pit but both look nice. Spent quiet evenings in the hot tub star gazing. Although this property rents two other houses, it felt private. The surrounding area has wineries, art galleries (tubac), Patagonia State Park and Missions. You’re in the mountains so weather is cooler than Tucson. Everything you need is provided and more. Easy communication with owner who is on site. Would gladly stay again.

Road Runner Guesthouse

True perfection in Patagonia! This was a top-notch accommodation that we were sorry to leave. Robin has thought of every detail. Location was wonderful for birding the Patagonia area. Definitely worth the price.

Family visit.

This is a wonderful place to stay. It has beautiful views, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. I highly recommend it and hope to stay here again.

Hilltop Vista

Wonderful quiet setting overlooking grassy rolling hills with Nogales on the horizon. Very clean; well-provisioned with extras travelers need like cooking oil, coffee, paper goods, etc. Robin is very responsive and helpful, even arranging for a dozen fresh eggs from a neighbor. We definitely hope to return!

Maybe best VRBO ever

Nothing I write can do this place justice. While the views are indescribable, so is the house itself and its host, Robin. Every room in the home is set up for views. The outside sitting areas are set up for views. The location is ten minutes from all the nature and hiking of Patagonia State Park and a half-hour from the arts community of Tubac. Walking is great right outside your door, too. The home is first rate. The rooms are furnished beautifully and are extremely comfortable. The showers are what you would experience in a five-star hotel. All the accoutrements - from coffee mugs, to appliances, to plates and silverware are the best I have seen in a VRBO. Robin is a tremendous host who puts her heart, and definitely her soul, into making guests feel welcome. We can’t wait to return next year.

The guest house is set away from the main house and other guest quarters giving you total privacy. Our property is set on a hill giving us a 360' view of the whole Southern AZ mountain ranges and Mexico border hills. It's truly breathtaking.
