About this property

This beautiful, airy and recently renovated 3 bedroom cottage has light hardwood floors throughout, a very large brand new kitchen, a home office for working from home, a very large bathroom with marble floors and a marble shower/jacuzzi tub and heated towel rack and a sunroom with sliding glass doors overlooking patio with a dining table and another couch. Second floor has a bedroom and a half bathroom. Quick ride to beach and town/restaurants.

An inground heated gunite saltwater pool was completed in july! (fee req to heat pool, it is naturally around 83-86 degrees without heater in Summer). 6 lounge chairs available for use. Dining table and couch and chairs outside + Weber grill. Outdoor wood burning fire-pit. And the best for last: a large wood outdoor shower covered in vines, tucked away behind the house for total privacy.

Lovely!

The house is nicely decorated and clean. We enjoyed the newly constructed pool and patio. Also enjoyed the back sun room for morning coffee and puzzles on the big table! Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The location is also a highlight – walking distance to some cute restaurants/bars, close to the ocean beach and right off E Montauk highway. Sam was very responsive ahead of time and during the stay to all inquiries. Would love to stay again!

Good host.Sam was very responsive.

House was cute, small and clean. There were ants in bathroom and kitchen. Host said exterminator would be called. Construction being done and driveway was muddy. Once construction is complete it will be a cute rental.

I recently purchased this charming beach house as a getaway from the city. I work for Pinterest (so I love everything home/decor) - and was immediately drawn to the charm of the house and property.

Why they chose this property

It has literally everything you could want. A heated gunite saltwater pool, a bluestone patio with all new outdoor furniture for lounging and entertaining. Gut renovated interiors with beautiful light hardwood floors, marble countertops, central air, all new window shades, a fire place, several desks for working from home, a magical outdoor shower surrounded by vines and flowers, and total privacy with fences and gates surrounding the entire property. You are a 5 minute drive from the most beautiful ocean beach, where you can watch surfers catch waves every morning, and you have several world class restaurants on the water to catch a cocktail and watch the sunset to the background of live music. You're also only 1.5 hours from NYC, so you save the 3+ additional hours it takes to get to Montauk for virtually the same vibe.
