Girls trip
This beautiful cabin made our girls trip perfect. So clean, beautiful setting. Quite and relaxing. The linens and towels were divine. And there were plenty, not just one per person. Janice was the perfect host. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. So close to beautiful Flathead lake and Glacier. Couldn’t have been any better.

A slice of heaven in Montana
Our family of six, with kids aging in range from 6 to 14, stayed four nights at this cabin and had a lovely time! The cabin is located about an hour from the West Glacier entrance to Glacier National Park, about a mile from the town of Lakeside. There were so many charming touches that Janice does for her guests! There was a bottle of Huckleberry wine and a Huckleberry chocolate bar welcoming us when we first walked into the cabin! We spent much of our time exploring Glacier National Park or the surrounding areas, but we enjoyed every minute at the cabin. There were toys and board games for us to play at night, and horseshoes and cornhole to play before dark. We have stayed at plenty of cabins over the years but the amenities and special touches at this cabin far exceeded our expectations. It’s also important to note how quickly Janice responded to my messages prior to or during our trip. Things like that matter! If we make it back to Lakeside someday, I hope this cabin has availability!

Lots of space and well stocked household
Six adults had a great four nights here - a touch of luxury after rustic glacier lodging. Great mattresses, bedding, towels. Kitchen had everything we needed and we could a lot. We spent every evening playing cards on the deck watching for deer, turkeys and humming birds. The family and dining areas are extra large and also have several spots where you could sneak off and enjoy some quiet. Hostess could not have been any more helpful and friendly. Lakeside area let us rent a boat. Have great restaurants. And bounce to other nearby towns.

Two Thumbs Way Up!
We were in town for a family wedding. We were surprised at the distance from the lake, however, once we got our bearings, we realized that this was the perfect home base for us. The seclusion and quiet was a welcome respite from the chaos of wedding prep. It was a joy to watch the wildlife and to hear the buzz of the hummingbirds each morning and evening. It was lovely to be able to have the whole family together - a rarity as children become adults! The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to create many delicious meals and make lots of new memories. Janice and her home will always hold a special place in our hearts.
