About this property

19th c. Manor in the Chevreuse Valley, Olympics Paris 2024

Manoir Les Ambesis is a 19th century family home located in a small hamlet in the heart of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse natural park, in the middle of fields and on the edge of the forest. The village is located 2km away and has all the necessary shops.
It is an ideal place for your stays or weekends with family or friends in the Paris region, only 30 km from Paris.
Ideal location for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, close to Versailles (18 km - horse riding & Pentathlon), Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (11km - cycling & BMX), Elancourt (8 km - mountain biking) and the Golf National (13 km - golf).

The Manor can accommodate up to 14 people in 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and a private park of 1 hectare to relax and enjoy.
During your stay you can also take advantage of the numerous walks or bike rides offered in the natural park and the rich heritage of the Chevreuse Valley.
Easy access by car or by train from Paris (train station at 5km, bus stop at 1,5km).

The Manor was built by our great-great grandmother at the end of the 19th century to reside in a more modern, friendly and pleasant country house than the small castle she occupied across the road. It was then transformed and fitted out over the years, always in this spirit of modernity, conviviality and tradition.
We are now three cousins, the 5th generation, to manage the manor. It is a house full of personal stories and joy that we are happy to share with you. We have chosen to offer it to you in the spirit in which our ancestors designed it, with period furniture and decorative elements.
We hope you will enjoy your stay and find as much pleasure in it as we do.
