Large & quiet Pelican Lake - Game Room, Sauna, Great Views, Boat & Jet Ski Lifts

Come Relax, Play, and Unwind at our quiet, off the road, Pelican Lake home. Our goal is for you to show up with just a suitcase, groceries, and whatever you enjoy doing on the lake. Our home will provide everything else you need to have a great family vacation, from paper products to can koozies!

Our four season home on Pelican Lake is very roomy inside and out. This home has 4 living spaces inside to hang out and relax, 2 upstairs 2 downstairs. There is a game room featuring a pool table, electronic dart board, and a few free play pinball machines! A game table area with tons of puzzles and board games. We also have a bumper pool table & an indoor sauna. There is also an xbox one, with 2 controllers, and numerous games. The house has central air condition and heat.

The lakeside deck is large and includes 2 sets of tables and chairs, 2 comfy outdoor barcalounger recliners, 3 sunning lounge chairs, & a propane grill that is large enough to cook for the whole group.

Take about 25 steps down to the dock, where you will find great swimming, an electric speed boat lift, and jet ski lift. The maximum weight for the lift is 5000 pounds(for a regular boat…a pontoon will not fit), & 800lb capacity jet ski lift.

There is a patio set on the non lakeside where you can relax and take part in the multiple yard games that are included. We have an outdoor fire pit (Solo Stove), overlooking the lake, with 6 Adirondack chairs. Chairs are padded and great for your group to enjoy.

We are just a 5 minute walk to Zorbaz restaurant on Pelican. Our place is about a mile from Cormorant Village where you will find the Cormorant Store, for gas and some groceries. Also, the Cormorant Bottle Shop, The Cormorant Pub, The Dollar General, & a few boutique shops. The Wildflower Golf Course is just a five minute drive. Numerous restaurants within a 20 minute drive. A few of them have live entertainment inside or out on weekends. Brand new Floe dock Spring of 2023. Great layout, ladder & stairs into water, paddle board holders, swivel chairs and table all built in.

Since our house is not right on county Hwy 9/20 it is VERY quiet and private. Come relax with the sunsets on the dock, and love the Pelican Lake life! We are excited to share our home with you.

***Please note, outdoor furniture, outdoor amenities, deck, dock & boat lifts are not available October 1st through May15th, maybe a bit later due to ice off date & install company availability. Please contact me to discuss if this effects your plans.

Inviting

Very thought out spaces and accommodations. We used all the spaces the property had to offer. All beds were comfortable. Owner was very helpful with any questions we had before and during our stay. Enjoyed all the games they had as well. Great place!

Wonderful summer vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Pelican Lake. There were 3 families of college friends and we had nearby family in Detroit Lakes. They have everything you could possibly need during a vacation at the lakes. The kitchen is beyond fully stocked. I could have made a full thanksgiving dinner and served it with the amenities they provided. There are a surplus of fluffy towels available. They actually left full soap bars instead of the little travel size ones. The sauna was a wonderful place to relax once the kids were asleep. Zorbaz is walking distance. Additionally our flights home were canceled and Chris was more than willing to accommodate us an extra night. My only concerns for future renters are: 1. the steps to the dock are quite steep and made me nervous with small children. We luckily did not have any issues. 2. The exterior security cameras are clearly disclosed in the rental agreement however they are angled into the living room spaces. The whole group was aware that these were able to see us from the minute we arrived. We did have a family dinner with about 20 people, 10 of which were kids under 8 years old. No one was rowdy (except kids after ice cream) or drinking heavily. We were asked to have guests leave as the agreement states we could only have 12 overnight guests. Although it was quite embarrassing for me to have “overlooked” this I feel it is only fair to let future renters be advised. I do really appreciate Chris’ hospitality and willingness to accommodate us. It was a very relaxing and fun week for our family.
