Quirky and beautiful
This house had such character and really beautiful upgrades like the kitchen and backyard. It was a great space for our sister weekend getaway. The location was perfect and walking distance to the downtown area. Carol communicated quickly and efficiently with check in details and little tips about the place. The beds were comfortable and we all slept really well. I highly recommend this cute home called Molly’s Place!

The Amazing Porch!
Absolutely loved our stay at Molly’s Place. From the minute you walk up the stone walkway to the most incredible, inviting front porch, you know you have arrived at someplace special! The house is decorated in what I would call shabby chic & Victorian combined. So relaxing and a comfortable environment. The back yard deck area is just as inviting and a great place to catch a nap under the trees. Our 8 year old grandson enjoyed beating us all at cornhole while dinner was grilling nearby. Wether we biked or walked to town/lake, we were only 4 blocks or .25 mile. Be sure to check out the Wednesday’s Farm Market! If we have the opportunity to visit CDA again, I will most definitely book Molly’s Place (the whole family agreed!)

We first came to Coeur d'Alene over 9 years ago and fell in love with the beauty of the lake and the mountains, the charming downtown area, and the friendliness of residents of the city. We kept coming back for a few short vacations and then rented a historic home by the lake for 3 months to determine if we wanted to move here. Shortly after that time, we purchased our home. We chose to live in the downtown area because we could easily walk to the grocery, post office, bank, the lake and beach area, shops and many restaurants. We have loved every minute of living here! We have been restoring, updating and renovating our home over the 8 years we have lived in it. The last year has been dedicated work to making the home into a VRBO for many to enjoy. We have put in a brand new deck, a patio area which has a built in grill with lovely stonework and lighting, all topped off by a hot tub! We also did a full renovation of the kitchen with new cabinetry that extends to the ceiling, gorgeous granite counter tops, new lighting, beautiful subway tile and a new stove/oven and dishwasher.

Why they chose this property

We think guests will love the charm and character of this historic home built in 1917 which is located in the Garden District of town. There is a lot of light coming in every room and the furnishings are comfortable and cozy. It's a 5 block easy walk to restaurants, shops, Lake Coeur d'Alene, a free public beach, and great mountain views surrounding the lake! Next to the lake is Centennial Park, which has a great jungle gym area for kids, picnic tables and grills, gorgeous trees, and basketball courts. The boardwalk and the world class Coeur d'Alene Resort and Spa are also in the same area as the park, lake and beach.
