Location Fantastic with Poor Communication
The location of the unit was nice as it’s in a great neighborhood of North Myrtle. The unit was clean and had a great view of the ocean from the porch. The interior could use some updating, especially in the restrooms but served the purpose and was clean
The communication was poor. We had to call VRBO the day of the check in as we hadn’t received our instructions on how to access the condo from the host. Once connected with VRBO reps we were told they would call us back if disconnected. After the initial VRBO rep unsuccessfully attempted to contact the host, I was transferred to a “Supervisor “ that offered a hotel in exchange for the condo or a 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom condo when we booked 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. I was then disconnected and did not receive a call back. After 10/15 minutes of waiting (while on the golf course trying to enjoy the start of our vacation), I called the VRBO line again. This time a different rep was able to contact the host 1 hour prior to scheduled check in.
Once everything was ironed out, the condo and location very much met our needs. We just wished it wasn’t a stressful check in process.
