Family Thanksgiving Getaway

We decided to do some thing different as a family this year and have a more low key Thanksgiving together. There were 10 of us in our party. We easily checked in on Wednesday evening. We were super impressed with the cleanliness of the home and all of the extra amenities on the property (they seriously had everything). We enjoyed all day Thursday by the fire pit and the kids playing on the swingset and all of the games in the game room on the first floor. We were sad to check out Friday morning and talked about how we would love to return to this property again next year!

Family stay for St Louis wedding

Beautiful home and easy to find! Conveniently a few miles from fast food and grocery store. Loved spending most of our time in the game room and comfy hot tub! Enjoyed sitting outside in the evening to hear the coyotes barking and then the birds chirping in the morning. We’d love to come back some day!

I am a single mother, I have a bachelor degree in psychology and elementary education. I also have a graduate degree in counseling. We began Waterfront Family rentals in 2019 with our lake house. We are super hosts and pay attention to every detail to make you comfortable while staying at our properties.
Since I was a teacher there is a dress up area, toy corner, and reading spot on the 3rd floor for the kiddos to keep them entertained. Being a DD case manager I wanted an ADA accessible home and here we are!

Why they chose this property

It was ADA accessible and I used to be a disability case manager. I want families to be able to gather whether they have a disability or not! This home was also intriguing with the amount of space available. When I was pregnant with my son, I had no where to have a baby shower, so Ohana is for families and family events.

What makes this property unique

This is a very Large private unique property. We have an 8-10 person hot tub with speakers. Ping pong, fuzz ball table, shuffleboard table, wood burning fireplace, 2 kitchens, covered bbq area with counters. Overall it's a very cool property. Come check it out!
