Reagan's Retreat is located at 1964 W. Beach Blvd. - Unit 8 in Heron Landing, a low density 16 unit complex on the lagoon side referred to as 'the quiet end of the beach'. It is perfect for those who want a relaxing, quiet 'retreat' not offered in the busy high rise complexes. Its location means low traffic, away from the bustling, main area, but is only 3.5 miles from the famous Hangout and Hwy 59 intersection.

The recently remodeled/updated Reagan's Retreat sleeps 6. The condo offers an open floor plan with two spacious decks providing limited views of the Gulf and Little Lagoon from every room. The main living area includes new tile throughout, upgraded kitchen with new cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and a full size washer and dryer. A queen sized sofa sleeper by Bassett and a 1/2 BA are located in the living area. A 43" HD/DVR-Tivo television with wireless/high speed internet access is featured in the living area.

Two BR's and 2 full BA's are located upstairs. One BR features a queen bed - the 2nd BR has twin beds that can convert to a king. Each bedroom has an adjoining bath for privacy. Both BR's are equipped with 32" flat screened televisions. A pack and play for your little one is available.

The fully equipped, remodeled kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals for your family. A gas grill is located in the parking area of the unit. The large main deck area off the living area features high quality poly outdoor furniture for relaxing with morning coffee or after a long, fun day at the beach. A shower is available in the parking area to 'rinse the sand away' before going upstairs to the unit. Beach towels are provided for your use. The storeroom is fully stocked with beach essentials so there is no need to pack your own beach chairs or umbrellas!

Deeded beach access via a boardwalk is located directly across the street. No need to worry about high traffic crossing the street on the 'quiet end" of W. Beach Blvd.

A private dock with benches on the lagoon is perfect for watching the sunset or casting out a fishing line.

A launch to access the lagoon is on site and available for boats, jet skis and kayaks.

A private pool dedicated for Heron Landing guests is available for your enjoyment.

To ensure the comfort of those with pet allergies, no pets are allowed.

This complex has a no smoking policy in the units or on the decks.

Minimum age for the primary renter is: 23 Occupancy limit: 6 adults This policy is strictly enforced for the enjoyment of our guests and other guests in the complex.

Priceless

This was the perfect place for my husband and I and our 2 children (10 & 7). The condo was so clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed and then some. The amenities go above and beyond. We had a view of the lagoon and the gulf while sipping our morning coffee and direct access to the beach. The communication with the owners were impeccable. The memories that were made were priceless and I would stay here over and over again!

Loved it all!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family! My toddler loved spending time in the pool and on the beach of the lagoon more than the actual gulf side beach so it was wonderful to have that option to enjoy! Also the house itself was so clean, had everything we needed, and the owners were great. Highly recommend and we hope to be back soon!

Another wonderful visit

This was our 3rd time back to Gulf Shores and 3rd stay in this same unit. So clean, well stocked and on the quiet end of the beach. Love it and we’ll be back again!

Great vacation stay

Communication with the renters was great prior to leaving I need to adjust my dates. Renters were very quick at getting back with me and adjusting the stay. A week prior to leaving we had all the codes and numbers needed to access the rental. Upon arrival the rental was very clean and well put together. Location of the rental for us was perfect, we were further down from most of the local business but we’re still close enough for a quick two minute drive. Beach access was almost directly across the street and the area was quite. House amenities were more than adequate and had just about anything you need for cooking. Plenty of room and space in the house for family of four. We had a great time and would highly recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting Gulf Shores.

Perfect place to stay

We had an amazing stay. Unit was clean when we arrived. The area is perfect. It is far enough away to be quiet but close enough to still not spend the day traveling back and forth. The beach is a short walk and the road isn’t super busy and the lagoon is close as well. The property is quiet and not super crowded. We have no complaints and will stay here any time we come to the area.

Heron Landing is located on the west side of the Lee Callaway bridge away from the crowds and traffic making it a perfect destination for those who are looking for a relaxing, quiet get-a-way. It is located only 3.5 miles west from the Hangout and Hwy 59 intersection. It is close to all the attractions and restaurants GS and Orange Beach have to offer.

What makes this property unique

There is always a nice Gulf breeze in the late afternoon under the covered parking area. This space is a perfect setting for sitting around visiting with family and friends while you grill your favorite steak or 'catch of the day'. The private pool for H.L. guests is a great place to cool off after a hot day at the beach....or....perhaps end your day by relaxing on the dock watching a gorgeous sunset.

Heron Landing is ideal for families with children. There is plenty of room for them to run around and play with adult supervision.

Stroll on the beautiful, white sand beach early in the morning and watch the dolphins and rays just off shore. In the evenings, catch an amazing sunset while watching herons and pelicans fly by.
