This one-of-a-kind Savannah vacation rental comfortably accommodates up to four people and features on-premise parking and a peaceful private patio.

Upon stepping inside you'll immediately take notice of the stunning cathedral ceilings, and original windows that create an inviting and airy atmosphere throughout the entire cottage. The full bath has a spacious walk-in shower and is located just next to the laundry area, on the ground level of the cottage. The first set of sleeping accommodations on this level features a comfortable queen-size bed. Cozy

Once we dealt with the bird (that was inside stuck beside the stove) and the pests coming in, it was a very good stay. One suggestion would be to install weather striping around the doors to minimize pests (bugs, flies, bees, etc.). Otherwise, thumbs up.

Review of Cooper Cottage end of June 2024

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really liked the cottage and would stay here again. Very clean and we really appreciated all the attention to detail. The following is feedback for possible areas of improvement:* Would be nice to have a small portable fan for both upstairs in the loft area and downstairs. The loft can get hot fairly quickly in the summer.* While one of the reasons we chose the cottage was that it came with a parking spot, it became obvious that it was more convenient to park on the street given we had a full size SUV and it was really tight when the residents across the ally parked their car in front of their garage doors.* The AC unit was difficult to utilize as the remote seemed to not work half the time and it was hard adjusting the temp at night and in morning.* Looks like the toilet tank is smaller than normal and maybe that was needed to properly fit but the toilet does not flush very well.* Not sure what you can do about it besides change on a regular proactive schedule but both smoke detectors had their batteries expire while we were there. Thank goodness the one above the patio door was the morning we were leaving because that could have been a real discomfort given how load it is and no way to reach it.

A Couples Getaway

The property was immaculate and very authentic for the historical neighborhood it is located in. Short 2 minute walk to Forsyth Park and 1 mile from River Street. Cottage includes everything you could possibly want for anything from a short stay or a long one. Would highly recommend!

Everything was good, clean, the beds where comfortable. I think the only item to improve on is that in the listing it should say that it is a back house. We didn't realize the alley had a street address.

Fantastic stay! Loved the location

Lovely location in a beautiful neighborhood and so close to Forsyth Park. We really enjoyed walking the streets in the neighborhood as the homes were so beautiful and fun to look at. Place was clean and amenities were good. Communication was also very good. We'd stay again, if we come back to Savannah. Parking space is a big plus!

Perfect Walkable Location

About a mile to River Walk and downtown Savannah, two blocks away from Forsyth Park, easy to visit all the squares and just wander the oh so charming streets of Savannah. I took my 2 small dogs and they also enjoyed their visit to Savannah. Parking is right next to the cottage, which is well equipped and very clean.

It is very small, dark, and you walk out into an alley. No closets which may be fine for a couple of days, but not for a month. The one plus is there is a parking space. And the location is good.

Perfect place for a getaway

We were thrilled with the location, just a block away from Forsyth Park. It was perfect for walking everywhere or taking a short uber ride to downtown. We were also super thrilled to be able to bring our 2 small dogs with us to enjoy the trip!The cottage was clean and well equipped for our short trip. I enjoyed learning the history of the cottage as well, which was posted in the living room. On our last day, we had a particularly strong and long rain storm that exposed a small leak above the door leading to the courtyard, but this did not adversely affect our stay. Check in/Check out was effortless. Will definitely look up Cooper Cottage again when we want to take another short trip to Savannah!

Stairs were a joke. How that could even be allowed is beyond me. Top floor I hit my head constantly and first night bugs in bed! Not bed bugs I don’t think because I got rid of them and never saw them after. Not enough dishes, only 1 kitchen towel. Steps leading to patio were a real tripping hazard! We survived! Enough said. We enjoyed our stay at this adorable carriage house. It was clean, well stocked and literally the perfect location! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We felt safe and comfortable and can’t wait to come back to visit Savannah again
