About this property

This can be your seasonal retreat in beautiful Homosassa Springs, the scalloping capital of Florida! Come and relax in a super clean and quiet, two-bedroom one bath apartment delightfully decorated in the Florida coastal living style. You will find this area to be a true retreat from the hustle and bustle of the big city! It is located off the main thoroughfare but right in the heart of all the wonderful opportunities to enjoy fishing, exploring, major theme parks, beaches, dining and the countless other activities you expect to find on the west coast of Florida.
This is our own personal vacation retreat. We find our location to be a quiet, friendly area and are very comfortable when we visit. It is in the center of a residential community, and guests should respect that factor.
Homosassa Springs is replete with (and widely known for) adventures such as viewing manatees and other wildlife up close. Waterfront restaurants are abundant and (especially) the seafood is superb. You can spend the day at world-famous beaches as well as forested parks for walking and biking trails or private picnics. Weeki Wachee Springs is just a few miles away where you can take restful, scenic kayak trips and even see live mermaids. Disney World, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, Sea World, and more are just a short road trip away. The minimum stay is three days. Internet and cable tv, bed and bath linens, and kitchen necessities are provided. There are three parking spaces per unit, with room to park a small boat.

PLEASE NOTE! You will be responsible for following the rules and policies regardless of whether you have read them. so please familiarize yourself with our information. This is a NON-SMOKING unit and NO Animals are allowed for the maximum benefit of all guests. NO EXCEPTIONS. If evidence of animals or smoking is discovered following your stay, a $250 fee will be assessed.

You are required to provide the driver’s license of the person renting the unit as well as any adult actually occupying the unit. Also required is the auto license along with the make, model and year of the car registered to the occupant. You will receive the door code upon arrival (pending receipt of driver and auto licenses.)

Owner will not be responsible for theft or loss of your personal property. Please secure your belongings and lock all doors upon exiting.

Homosassa Florida Villa

My husband and I were very impressed with the cleanliness and all the extras provided with this home. The description of the property was accurate, the neighborhood was quiet and the location was within 15-20 minutes of everything we enjoyed doing. The owners were very accommodating and friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable also. Thank you for letting us borrow you villa.

My wife Janis and I have been very happily married for 46 years. I come from a Montana wheat farming background and she is an original coal miner's daughter from West Virginia. We are lifelong followers of Christ, attend, serve and support our church. We lived in Florida for many years and are very familiar with this area. We have raised two children and have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Our 5-year-old Yorkie Kramer got his name from the Seinfeld TV show. We enjoy being outdoors in beautiful weather, being on the water, fishing, kayaking, eating seafood, sightseeing, and taking nature walks..

Why they chose this property

This is our own personal vacation rental property. We strive t keep it in excellent shape and find it to be a quiet retreat from big city life and enjoy the lush Florida landscape and gulf waters. We especially enjoy being off the main grid while still being close enough to go out and have a terrific seafood meal or just be amazed by what God has created in nature. Florida sunsets are second to none and being on the water (whether it is the gulf, a river or a lake) is peaceful and serene. It is located within easy commute to airports, theme parks and many recreational areas.

What makes this property unique

Our home away is filled with coastal Florida style decorations, mostly new, clean and comfortable furnishings, plus a fully equipped kitchen with a new stove and dishwasher. and a fridge with an icemaker You are welcome to use anything you find in the pantry for meal prep or cleanup and we provide all the necessities for you to truly be at home away from home. Feel free to replace any staple item you deplete. This is a quiet, peaceful area, with lots of wonderful sights and activities to enjoy.
