Perfect for Fishing!
Terrific place! We ended up staying on a very chilly weekend but loved every minute. Darren reached out to us immediately and made sure we had everything we needed. The place is one flight down and the door is right at the bottom of the steps. The back porch had a direct access outside to the ground level and made it so easy to step out on the dock and fish! The view from the bedroom and the living room was GORGEOUS! We woke up early and watched the sunrise from the comfort of our bed.
We did eat at Shorty Pants and the food and service were great! There is even a dockside store for convenience items (although not open yet for the season when we stayed). Having that so close is a real plus!
One other bonus is that the place had paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dishwasher detergent- and even some small bottles of shampoo and conditioner. We had brought a whole bag of items we typically need for a weekend rental- and didn’t get out any of our own supplies. Such a nice touch! There is even ground coffee and keurig pods!
The beds were comfy and there is even one set of firm and one set of soft pillows for the beds. (That was great since the hubs likes the firmer pillow but my princess head needs the softer kind!).
It was pretty quiet and we never heard the neighbors. The cove is tucked away and other than the occasional cigarette boat showing off, the whole place was quiet and peaceful.
We drove into town a few time for meals and it was a short drive.
