About this property

Cozy Log Cabin, 5 Min to Ski, Great for Groups, Oversized Deck, Dog-friendly

Also available for long-term rent. Please inquire for more details.

A 3-minute drive from downtown Ludlow & Okemo Mountain Resort, this recently renovated cabin is located on a private drive right off RTE 100. It's the perfect location for any seasonal activity you've come to enjoy - skiing, hiking, swimming, leaf peeping, etc. Finish any day lounging at the cabin or out on our oversized deck or head into town for your choice of wood-fired pizza, cozy taverns, breweries or wine/cocktail bars.

This unique property was built in 1969 from a Sear's build-your-own home kit and is a truly authentic log cabin. Originally intended as a hunting cabin, this home has been altered and recently renovated to be the vacation rental it is today! It still has some quirks from it's original form, but has been modernized to host up to 13 people who want to getaway and enjoy the beautiful outdoors that Vermont is known for. This historic piece of property has captured a piece of our heart and we hope you enjoy staying in it as much as we do!

Great stay
Our family of four and our dog had a great staying at Myranda’s place. The house is 6min away from the base camp which made the ski trip easy. Check in is super easy and the house is very clean as shown in pictures. We have some issues at beginning and the host is very responsive and all the issues are resolved quickly.

Vermont in the Fall...it really should be on your bucket list.
We planned a trip to Ludlow, Vermont for a family event. After looking at several properties in the area, this one checked all of the boxes. We enjoyed our time in Ludlow and went to several great restaurants on Main Street. We travelled about 30 minutes to Woodstock one afternoon and Killington for a fall festival the next day. The Weston Vermont County Store was around 15 minutes away and worth the stop. The property is well equipped and fully stocked with all of the necessary essentials. Myranda the owner was quick to respond to some of our questions. No complaints from any of us...but my 82 year old Mom would have liked a TV on the main living level instead of in the finished basement. We really were not there for TV but it would have been nice by the beautiful comfy couch and amazing view of the fall foliage. Overall...great trip, great house...thank you!

About the host

My husband and I move around every couple of years due to the military and we've enjoyed exploring the various different places we've been stationed. We're both Wisconsin natives, but have lived in New London CT, Seattle WA, Oakland CA, Ann Arbor MI and are now back in the Seattle WA area! We started hosting for Airbnb while living in California and rented out one of our spare bedrooms. Ever since then, we've been hooked and now added a cabin in Ludlow, Vermont to our offerings.

We both love exploring the great outdoors and spending time with our goldendoodle, Cash. We're constantly on the move and always looking to plan our next adventure. We look forward to hosting you and hope we can be a small part of your next adventure.
