Outdoor fire table to enjoy the outside and stay warm!
The cabin includes a large yard with fire pit. Guests can walk to the lower field/meadow. We are working on a fruit tree area and a herb garden to share with guests!
Please note the road to the property is unpaved and consists of loose gravel/dirt/mud when rainy. It is a private road and is maintained by the land owners so please drive slow.
Power to the area, more so in wintertime, can be lost. Don’t worry, the cabin has a backup generator that will automatically turn on. It turns on automatically for a weekly test - mid week.
Wildlife:
This is in the woods and we do have native wildlife. Do not leave food outside as it attracts creatures, big and small. There are several windows with screens to allow outside air and smells inside. I suggest keeping doors closed because of bugs, wildlife and my chocolate lab who sometimes runs to the cabin to greet people - and check for food left out!
Ferry traffic is very busy Friday through Sunday. You might consider coming early (Thursdays), leaving late (Mondays) or both!!! :)
