Great vacation on the lake
We loved this beautiful lakefront property. The house was roomy and stocked with everything we needed, and our golden retriever found it to be very dog-friendly! The lake is private and peaceful and we enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board, and rowboats. We found some great restaurants and breweries close by, including Funky Bow brewing, Bay Haven Lobster, Town Hill Grill, and Krista’s. We also drove over to Windham to Bob’s Seafood and the Allagash and Definitive breweries, which made for a nice day trip. The owner was always available and attentive, good experience all around and we would definitely rent again!

Lovely family trip
We had a great time despite less than stellar weather. The house was comfy and cozy as we watched the rain! We also took advantage of the club house indoor pool! There was good fishing - my 7 year old caught the first fish of the trip!

I haven't been that relaxed in a very long time.
It's not often that you find a vacation spot that ticks so many boxes and is still affordable. The house is inviting and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice quiet but it's the view and proximity to the lake that is the real star. If you are in the house you can see the lake from almost everywhere and when you go out the glass door in the back you have your own recreation area. No driving, no finding a parking spot no long hot walk in flip-flops hauling your cooler and beach chairs, Just a 50 foot walk under the shady pines and you have your own private swimming spot. Our Mini dachshund has never enjoyed water that much in her life and the kayaks and paddle board along with my canoe were used almost every day with the exception of one day when we went to Portland (less than an hour away) for shopping and some of the best dining in New England. Mike and Kathy were always in contact and easy to reach if we needed anything. They even left a S'mores kit for us and encouraged us to use the fire pit by the lake. The whole family wants to come back next year.

Awesome Cabin
The owners were attentive and checked to see if everything was going well. They responded right away if you had questions. The property was beautiful and having the kayaks was a bonus. I would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing
We came to this area of Maine so my wife could expand her genealogy research. She had already touched base with the Limington Librarian and on this trip got to meet her and some others including some cousins. I think most people associate this part of Maine (especially in June) with blackflies and mosquitos. Well not a single one was to be found thanks to the cold and wet weather which did hinder any of our activities. There are a lot of charming towns, I think Cornish was our favorite. Fishing wasn't the greatest, one should have a boat, although my grandson came for the day and he had good luck fishing off the dock-he caught pickerel, blue gills and even a bullhead. We definitely consider staying here again!!
