We are grateful to have been able to raise our family in downtown Santa Barbara in a gorgeous craftsman home (now the Sky View Terrace and Veranda Bungalow). We have loved and appreciated living next to the gorgeous downtown parks and being able to walk everywhere we needed to go from the theatre to dinner to shops and music. As we have gradually invested in the properties around our family home, we have been able to honor the legacies of our neighbors by extending their own sense of joy and hospitality to our guests. We see ourselves as caretakers of the cherished homes of our friends, and want to share the joy of these exquisite houses with others who want to spend some time here in downtown Santa Barbara to rest and indulge in the classic beauty of these well-loved homes.

You are in the heart of downtown and in the center if it all but tucked away into a small quiet side street. You can walk all the way down the new pedestrian mall (it starts just at the end of your block) to the wharf, harbor and beaches. The famous Courthouse and Sunken Gardens is two blocks away, Alice Keck Park one block away, with 20 of the finest of Santa Barbara restaurants and the Public Market clustered within a few blocks. Additional guests can stay on the new and very comfy pull out queen sofa bed. Curl up and watch movies or TV from your bed or the living room couch. Work at the large breakfast bar or desk or sit in the bright kitchen. Your own washer and dryer plus all the amenities including a soaking tub.
