lovely place in Hvar town

perfect location for us. the private parking spot is right at the front. (aka, no need to circle around and try our luck every single day) i was also pleasantly surprised to see there are no stairs involved! although the unit is indeed on the second floor (hence the beautiful view from the back balcony just as shown in listing), because Hvar is so hilly, the front door actually opens right at street level. the land lady lives right downstairs which personally i prefer! she has so many beautiful flowers and plants around, it is truly a home - you can tell it is cared for and well maintained. inside is decorated the same way - quaint, cozy, with lovely person touch. beds are comfy and linen are of high quality. most of all, the land lady's daughter ljiljana is one of the most helpful, kind and considerate hosts i have ever dealt with. the casa is within walking distance to Hvar old town. but we drove most of that time due to my injured knee: parking is never a problem and very affordable in old town.
