Very comfortable stay
We were a family of 6 (3 generations) staying the weekend for a wedding nearby. House was very comfortable and clean and was only a short 10 minute drive to the wedding venue. The market down the hill at the farm was a great spot for breakfast and coffee in the morning. House was well equipped - particularly the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Slice of Heaven in NH
Perfect location to visit our two kiddos who attend UNH. The house is an easy 5 minute drive to campus, and super close to Newmarket, Dover and Portsmouth. Plenty of activities and amazing food nearby. The farmhouse is in a beautiful and peaceful setting and the interior is thoughtfully and meticulously decorated. As an artist I especially loved the eclectic collection of art and handmade pottery. The kitchen had every amenity and although we didn’t cook during this trip would have had everything we needed. Three full baths is a lovely perk. Every one was spotless and heated floors in NH in February was a super nice touch. The beds were all really comfy and bedding and towels were soft and high quality. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and love into the property and the cleaning crew keeps this place impeccably clean. The owner David is super responsive and helpful and answered all of our questions very quickly. We can’t wait to stay here again during the warmer months to take advantage of the nearby outdoor activities. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

We are fortunate to be the 10th generation on this family farm first settled in 1660, and we hope you will find it a special place. We want to acknowledge that Abenaki, Penacook, and Wabanaki peoples have lived on this land and the place we call New Hampshire for more than 12,000 years. We invite you to join us as we commit ourselves to honoring exploring the full history of the land and its people.
Catherine and David live on this farm, and happily share our joy of the land and the seacoast with guests who visit. We are also huge fans of the seacoast and all that has to offer in terms of great food, the arts, nature, and so much more. Let us see how we can help you to make your trip as memorable as possible.

Why they chose this property

This property is unique in that it is one of the last remaining farms on the seacoast of New Hampshire. In fact the farm situated on a tidal river. Guests who stay at the farm are able to walk to a farmstand located on the property and find an amazing place to be able to get a cappuccino in the morning, a breakfast sandwich, ice cream, a fresh apple cider doughnut, beer/wine, gift items and more! There is outdoor seating and even an animal petting barn! This is all in your backyard when you stay at the farm!

What makes this property unique

This home is on a 130 acre farm which is 10 minutes from Portsmouth,15 minutes from the beaches, and 4 minutes to Durham. It's also one hour from Boston and Portland Maine. This location is unique because it is close to Portsmouth without the busyness of Portsmouth. It gives people the opportunity to experience living on a farm and to have a farm café and all that it offers right on the property.
