About this property

This detached vacation home in Lauwersoog is located in the Lauwersmeer National Park, a beautiful nature area with lots of water and various bird species. This vacation home is within walking distance of the Lauwersmeer beach and the ferry to Schiermonnikoog. The house is nicely furnished and has a cozy living room with TV and fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and sink and a separate toilet. All rooms are located on the first floor. Your bicycles can be safely placed in the barn.
Various facilities are within walking distance, such as the Lauwersoog campsite with bike rental, entertainment during vacation periods and a good restaurant on the Lauwersmeer. Visit the nearby fishing port with information center or relax on the beach of Lake Lauwersmeer. Pieterburen is only 20 km away. It is a small village and starting point for mudflat walks. It also houses the famous seal breeding station. The port of Zoutkamp and the town of Dokkum are also very worthwhile destinations. Along the way, you will pass vast meadows and traditional farms. During your vacation, be sure to visit Schiermonnikoog, a characteristic mudflat island with a varied landscape, beaches, dunes, forests and wetlands.
