Beech Mountain Retreat

Nice condo, very well upgraded. Needs table and lamps in living room. Only has glaring overhead lights. Needs something in bedrooms for clothing. Living out of a suitcase sitting on the floor is tough.

Stay on Beech

The property was cleaned when we arrived. Communication with the manager was great. We had an issue with the refrigerator but Voyage Oad contacted the owner. A new refrigerator was installed but delayed because of Lowes. Which wasnt the owners or brokers fault. Overall excellent.

Cozy Location Near the Slopes

Once you make it up the mountain, it's the perfect location to the slopes. You look out the windows and see the slopes and beautiful scenery. Each room is cozy and beautifully decorated. Love the kitchen area! The only cons were the water got cold extremely fast while showering and the floor is uneven in the hall. Both minor things. Overall amazing stay and would book again.

We had a great time staying at the condo. It was well stocked with supplies and we even used the sleds for the kids that they had! Everything was clean and tidy and we had a great time skiing and snowboarding at Beech Mountain. Highly Recommend!

The wonderful Frosty Pause

We stayed here on September 20 and 21st nights. My daughter and I were here for the land of Oz adventure. We loved this condo. It had everything you needed well stocked kitchen and very clean. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a getaway to Beautiful Beech Mountain!!

In town for the Oz Experience

Two friends and I stayed in your condo for two nights. We were very pleased with everything about it! Very neat and clean, plenty of kitchen supplies and tools, extra throw blankets, and great water pressure. I would highly recommend your place to others who might be visiting the area.

Great time on the mountain

We had a great stay on Beech Mountain from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. The condo had everything that we needed. The two decks were great. A short drive down the mountain to Lees McRae College for my grandson's lacrosse camp and we ate dinner twice at LP on Main.

Uncomfortable beds and furniture

Listing description lacking and inaccurate. Didn’t say what size beds and claimed “air conditioning “ but only master bedroom with a floor portable unit hooked to outside. Couch was so hard you couldn’t sit on it. Bed a double I think consisting of 2” foam mattress bad on a mattress with no box springs. Twins in other room too short for an adult. Think probably fine for younger people there during winter but not for 78 year olds in summer. It is beautifully renovated and was very clean but we left a day early because we couldn’t handle the furniture. And this comes from a couple who owned a condo that was rented out for years for short terms on a Georgia island so we know the time, effort and expenditures needed to keep one up. We missed a day of visiting with our friends too.

Great stay

I have been coming to the Pinnacle since I was a kid and now I bring my family up in the summer as often as possible. I’ve stayed in a lot of different rooms here over the last 20+ years and this one did not disappoint. Nicely renovated room (amazing master shower) and a great deck for morning coffee and deer watching! The host was great as well…very responsive with any questions during our stay.

Short getaway

The condo was well appointed and very clean. The resort had lots of activities available from mini golf to pickle ball to play sets for children. Over all very good experience. I’d recommend.

This property looked to be one the nicest options when researching places to stay in the Beech Mountain area. But this property is even nicer than the pictures depict. This property was new, modern, and extremely. It is in a great location, with fantastic views of the mountains. Would definitely stay here again!!

When we first arrived the place we rented had not been cleaned, we called the property manager and she immediately corrected it by offering us another place. She was wonderful to communicate with and would recommend anybody taking a trip to beech mountain to book through them

Cute Place, Great Location, has potential, but....

Overall, this is a very cutely decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo in great location very close to all the fun activities and restaurant's Beech Mountain has to offer. I loved that it did not have an overabundance of Knick knacks, and it's minimal design. However, we did have a number of issues that should be addressed by the owner to improve this rental. Frist of all, we intentionally rented a 2 bathroom 2 bedroom place, but one of the bathrooms had an inoperable toilet for our entire stay. We did alert the property manager, but they were unable to arrange a fix while we were there, despite two visits from handymen. At one point, there was a bucket placed under the toilet hose to collect leaking water that overflowed in the middle of the night, and I had to clean up. No immediate solutions or concessions were offered to us by the property manager. Also, the despite having a really cute look, there was not a single piece of comfortable furniture in the entire place - everything was hard and not at all comfortable, and the couch was absolutely impossible to sit on- it felt like sitting on a carboard box. So, if you are looking to cuddle up after a day of skiing and relaxing before a fire, this is not the place to do it unless they get higher quality furniture. Same goes for the beds....BTW, I had not noticed in the listing, but no king bed in master. They outdoor spaces are large with beautiful views, and I am sure kids would love all the amenities offered at condo.

We really enjoyed our stay but thought more attention could have been paid to cleaning.

The layers of dust on the ceiling fans, bathroom fans and baseboards was very off putting. Overall we had a great visit and the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very clean and well equipped.

The condo overlooks the slopes of Beech, has a huge porch, and is a great location (near public sledding hill, playground and downtown). The condo itself is beautifully updated and has a wood burning fireplace. Quiet condo too. Would stay here again.

Holiday getaway

Beautiful view of the ski hill and wildlife right off our deck! Fireplace was cozy. Condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. Short walk to the spa are that offered pool, steam room and exercise center. Pool was perfect temperature. Would definitely stay here again!
