Straight drive down route 9 makes for a quick trip to Lewes Beach or Cape Henlopen State Park in 10-15min or, and 20minutes to Rehoboth or Dewey and all the outlets. Walking distance to Hopkins Creamery for the best icecream in Lewes, DE where you can visit cows and check out their new playground sets.

Ice Cream

I had to ask for door code, it was not emailed prior to check in. The grass was not mowed at check in nor all week, we could not take children outside. The house was in desperate need of a thorough deep cleaning, dust and spiders under furniture and food crumbs in sofa cushions...everything in the kitchen needed washed before use because it was sticky. Bathroom fan did not work, and the house had a musty smell. Cleaning was requested, but was unavailable until laterbin our stay, by that time, we already cleaned what we needed. I am not a fussy person, but we had two very young children with us and we spent a significant amount of time at the house. The best part of our stay was the proximity to the ice cream!

Great trip

During our stay at a VRBO house, our family had a pleasant experience. The house was well-maintained and clean, ensuring a comfortable environment for our vacation. With three bedrooms available, each of us had our own room, allowing for privacy and personal space. The ample room in the house allowed everyone to spread out without feeling crowded or getting in each other's way. One of the highlights of the location was the proximity to a fantastic local ice cream shop, which was just a short walk away. It provided a delightful treat for our family, and we could easily satisfy our sweet cravings whenever we wanted. Furthermore, the house's convenient location made it easy for us to access various attractions. Whether we wanted to enjoy sports on the beach for a baseball tournament, explore the Tanger outlets for some shopping, or simply relax on the nearby beaches, everything was within reach. Overall, our family's experience in the VRBO house was enjoyable. The clean and spacious accommodations, coupled with the nearby ice cream shop and convenient location to various attractions, made it a memorable and convenient stay for all of us.
