About this property

Breathtaking River Front Cabin at RMNP w/ Hot Tub

You can’t stay any closer to the river because it is no longer allowed. Modern Rustic year-round cabin on the edge of Thompson River just minutes from the Beaver Meadows entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park. Fish steps from your front door.

Imagine waking up in the morning to the gentle sound of a river in front of your cabin while the sun shines through the pine trees and the wind serenades your arrival in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Sip on your hot coffee or tea as you snuggle in front of the fireplace or your front porch depending on the season as you await for your family to awaken from their slumber. Listen to the bacon frying while you prepare pancakes or French toast as your hungry bears awaken before a day of exploring Rocky Mountain National Park. Welcome to “Sunshine”.

Slow down and introduce your loved ones to the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life as your parents and grandparents once did for you.

**Upon booking, you will receive a welcome message with a pdf version of our Welcome Guide. Please make sure to read in order to learn how to check-in and enjoy your overall experience.**

This updated modern rustic cabin has a master bedroom with a queen bed as well as a twin bed with a trundle. Enjoy your own private hot tub in front of your cabin, fire pit, amazing views of the river, pine trees, and wildlife. Wi-Fi, Direc-TV, Roku, Keurig coffee maker and a fully stocked kitchen. Fish right in front of your cabin, BBQ, shoot darts, or challenge your loved one to an epic game of corn-hole on our grounds.

Sunshine is part of River Spruce Cabins, an intimate 10 cabin resort on the Thompson River where you can fish in front of your cabin, relax in your hot tub with a glass of wine while overlooking the river or toast some smores in front of your fire pit. Be one of the lucky ones to enjoy this special place and become a member of the long lines of families that keep returning year after year. This is not a cheap Spartan experience. We go out of our way to make sure you have a complete experience with modern amenities. Combine this cabin with North Star for a large family or multi-family saty.

We are a fully automated resort, so you will not have to wait in line to check-in, fumble with keys, or check-out. Everything is simple and included like linens, towels, cookware, spices and toiletries.

Book with confidence as we offer you our “love it” guarantee. If for any reason you don’t love the place or feel we have misrepresented our place in any way, let us know when you arrive and we will give you a full refund, no questions asked.

Nice getaway for a few days
We visit Colorado to see our son regularly, so we like to take a few days for ourselves. We came across this place and it was very nice and conveniently located. Will stay again in the future.
