About this property

White Mountains Retreat

My place is located in a town with over 100 miles of hiking trails within its borders. There's also mountain biking, cross-country skiing, backcountry skiing, alpine skiing, paddling, and fishing, all in one of the heart of the White Mountain National Forest. My home is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families with one or two older kids, or anyone seeking a quiet mountain retreat.

The home is brand new, so this listing is new to VRBO

There is no direct access to ATV trails.
The space
Private, efficient, newly built 900 sq ft cabin with beautiful mountain views.

Kitchen includes a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, pots, pans, place settings and all related kitchen necessities. Three-piece bathroom with shower on the main floor. Main floor washer and dryer, linens and towels.

The home is located on a private, 2-acre parcel with a stunning view of the Northern Presidential. There are new flower beds, and a small, maintained lawn.

Pictures do not do it justice !!!!
My brother, mother, teenage son and I spent one week during the summer at this lovely alpine style home. I do not think the pictures capture the true essence of this beautiful new home. The view from the living/dining room through the large picture window and sliding glass doors is breathtaking of the mountain perfectly centered and surrounded by the lush forest off in the distance. Just feet from the house, you will find a small trail lined with tiny Christmas trees under the canopy of the larger trees. Every morning I would find my brother there enjoying his coffee. The first day a family of wild turkeys walked through the back yard. The kitchen is larger than presented and was well stocked with all the pots, pans, plates, microwave etc. and a good size prep area. The beds were very comfortable. My mom and I were down stairs in the king bed. My brother and son were upstairs where the queen bed and the day bed are found. The only thing that was a little tricky was navigating the spiral staircase. As for noise, it's very quite and great for getting a good nights sleep. There was also a brand new gas grill that we really enjoyed along with the rocking chairs on the back deck that was our favorite place at night for star gazing. The location was convenient. Maybe 10 mins to a Walmart. Close to many popular hiking trails. We really enjoyed Flume Gorge, the city of Conway, hiking to Glen Ellis falls, canoeing and so much more. If you have kids they will like the amusement parks near Conway. Communication with the host was easy and we would definitely stay here again.
