We are on a septic system so please FLUSH TOILET PAPER ONLY. Flushing anything other than toilet paper could cause clogging and septic system backup.

Our hot water heater is mighty but small and can accommodate a nice hot shower for about 10 minutes. After that, you'll need to wait for it to reheat.

Cozy little casita. Private. "Kitchen" sink was also the bathroom sink. Window air conditioner ran full blast and was noisy.

Great stay! A gem...

We are almost afraid to speak of our fabulous stay! We certainly don't wish for more folks to stay there when we want to book for our next visit to Austin! The "casita" was just as described/pictured. Very private. A lot of charm and the hosts have amenities that have been well thought out. The fenced in yard is quite large and our dog Jess had a great time as well. The hosts are great people and are clearly interested in making sure their guests have a positve guest experience. When we are next in Austin, we will be booking this place (if available!).

Great Stay

My husband and I stayed during our visit to the Austin City Limits Festival. The casita was very clean and cozy, yet spacious. After long days in the sun, this was the perfect, quiet space to rest and recharge. Rachel was very kind and considerate to check in with us and make sure we had everything we needed.

Hi! I'm Rachel and I live in South Austin with my partner Micah and our friendly 10lbs dog names Crouton! We are both Austin natives, born and raised, so Austin is a very special place for us. We love being able to share our guest house with travelers looking for a hill country getaway and their canine companions looking for a big backyard. We do live on the property as we both work from home, so we are available as much or little as you need. We can also provide recommendations on pretty much anything, But, we are experts in live music, margaritas, wineries/breweries, swimming holes, lake activities, hikes, and tacos.
