About this property

Home has a sauna, indoor fireplace, indoor sauna, spacious patio, and upstairs decks facing both the front and back of the home for two beautiful views of both the water in the rear of the home and marshlands in the front. Water in back of the home, outdoor shower, 2 kayaks, 4 bicycles, launch area for the kayaks and other small crafts (at high tide), and indoor/outdoor games available to you (all included). Summer Island private beach access, Sunset beach access, and Linden beach with an awesome diving board into the ocean!

Upstairs- Master bedroom suite has a king size pillow top bed, its own private bathroom, walk-in closet, personal deck with high top seating for two, personal television, and work desk. There are two additional bedrooms upstairs with another full bathroom. These two bedrooms have a queen bed in each. One of the bedrooms has a personal television. Both bedrooms include closet space and a shared upstairs deck access. There is a full laundry unit closet upstairs as well.

Downstairs- Downstairs is a beautiful open concept kitchen, a quaint den for relaxing, living room with 65in television and 5 reclining leather seats, work station in the living room, family style dining table with views of the water, and a half bath. Additionally, the 2 car garage may be utilized for your vehicles and/or to store personal recreation items.

The area- Summer Island is a part of a great shoreline community. Everyone in the area is very friendly and here to enjoy the beautiful area. We will provide you with a list of the great local restaurants, activities, and beautiful sites to enjoy the full experience of what Branford Shores has to offer. With 3 beaches within walking distance you can enjoy the morning rise, sunset, and gorgeous day by the water.

Summer Island, beautiful peaceful getaway

Orlando’s home is spacious, clean and ideal to connect with nature. In what looks like a tucked away English village near the ocean, Summer Island is the perfect place to relax, paint, write, simply have fun and enjoy nature. During the summer you can walk 5 minutes to neighborhood’s private small beach. On a crowded day, you might stumble into 10 people at the most. There are 4 new bikes that are at your disposal to bike around the area. There are also 2 kayaks that can be launched directly from the patio which faces a lagoon opening to the Long Island Sound. Be mindful of the tide times when planning your kayak trip. You can enjoy amazing sunsets from the house, up on the deck, or by walking 5 minutes to Sunset Beach. At night, sit back and enjoy stargazing. This is one of the most beautiful starlit skies I have ever seen. The House Orlando’s house has everything you need to make Summer Island your home for however long you choose to say. Sleeps 6 people comfortably. There are 2 bathrooms and a half bathroom downstairs. The kitchen was recently renovated and is equipped with everything you need to enjoy a home-cooked dinner. The patio and deck was one of my favorite places of the house. You can enjoy the outdoors, cook on the barbecue and a meal on the table set outdoors. There was also a volleyball net setup on the yard. And there is SAUNA, for 2, built in the living/TV room! Very cool! Orlando was very responsive to our call when we got in. The stay went smoothly, just perfect. Everything is very clearly explained. Thank you!
