Completely renovated in 2016, this 100 year old Cajun Cypress house is located on the Intracoastal Waterway in historic downtown Houma. Walking distance to the park/marina and restaurants and just an easy, 1 hour drive to New Orleans. Enjoy sitting on the back porch or deck overlooking the water while watching the many different types of boat traffic go by or 'chill' at your own private bar! The views are awesome! If you want an idea of how Louisiana must have been in years gone by, this is it! Great for Weddings, Parties and other events (upon request)

Great Hosts!!

We had a wonderful time here! Grilled, fished, the host was building a new wharf when we arrived but we still had access to everything! Patio, backyard and wharf was a great first experience for my grandsons and this place made it very special! You'll love it here!!

WHILE SITTING ON THE PORCH OF THIS PROPERTY, YOU WILL SEE TUG BOATS PASS, JET SKIERS, BOATERS, AND YOU EVEN SEE THE WILDLIFE THAT HOUMA, LA OFFERS SUCH AS MANY DIFFERENT BIRDS, FISH, ALLIGATORS AND MOST OF ALL THE DUCKS. THEY COME ON THE BANK TO EAT THE DUCK FOOD WE KEEP ON HAND FOR THEM
