Disappointing

The property was clean, but had a disagreeable odor in hallway. The property was on the second floor, had we known that we probably would not have rented the appartment. We are three ladies in our 70s who had to carry our suitcases up a flight of steep stairs. The listing stated three beds. I don't think the futon in the living room is the same as a "bed". One of the mattresses had a very "used" feeling to it. There was miscommunication between renter and VBRO, We do agree the location was good.

Mildew

The bathroom was moldy. The whole place smelled. We kept the windows open when it wasn't raining. The AC unit noted the filter needed cleaned. The light fixture had bugs in it. The apt is on a busy road and it is upstairs. These two things alone would have had me choosing someplace else.
