Cherry Alley manor was built in 1891. This grand lady is in downtown historic Maysville. She had a remodel in spring 2022 and is ready to host guests. She has 3 floors. Her main living floors have carved oak doors, oak/majolica fireplaces ( inoperable) in every room, a 1920’s elevator (that is just for great selfies) and jaw dropping charm. She has 5 bedrooms (one is a bunk room), 3 bathrooms, a game room, 2 dining areas, large kitchen, 2 sitting rooms, 2 car garage and a petite library.

Amazing birthday getaway!

Cherry Manor was an absolute dream for my friends and I to celebrate my 40th!! The house is absolutely stunning and has everything needed for a relaxing time! The location is super convenient in town to explore the beautiful historic architecture. My friends and I made lasting memories that I will certainly cherish! Thank you so much, Ashlee, for sharing the gem and being so welcoming!!

Perfect for a family birthday

What a wonderful house, with a unique decor. It was great having so many big bedrooms, to hold the whole family for a birthday trip.

Our Mother's family is from Maysville. My sisters and I have gone there almost every summer of our lives. We have always been captivated by the charming old buildings. Around 2018 we bought our first old home in Maysville to restore. Since then we have restored 3 others. We enjoy sharing them with VRBO customers and bring the Charm of Maysville Kentucky to everyone who visits.

Why they chose this property

Our grandfather was born in the house across the street. It is a house we had seen many times. We have smaller homes in Maysville, but wanted something larger to fit our families when we were in town and provide a venue for others to host larger groups. We were awestruck by the wood work, fireplace and history of the house. I think we giggled all the way through the first showing and had to go back a second time because we were blinded by her charm. She was a property that was loved by all that lived there. She needed some updating, so between November of 2021- May 2022 she got lots of improvements. We did this with care to retain as many original elements as possible ( even put some back that we found). We love her and know you will to.
