I loved my stay! Just a warning: the upstairs with the king bed will get a little humid in the morning but the guest room downstairs doesn't so you might want to sleep downstairs. But I would still choose this villa! The sunsets are gorgeous! There is a shuttle so it doesn't matter where you park. This villa is at the very top and we parked at the reception area and took it all the way up. They'll you up and drop you off at your villa so you don't have to walk anywhere. There's no food or water at this villa so get some groceries if you can. There's a small store with plenty of groceries about a 5 minute drive out of the villas. It was very clean. There are some sugar ants so just make sure food is put away. There's a main restaurant in the middle of the resort but tons of restaurants at the beach, where the shuttle will drop you off. There's also a lot of activities here like snorkeling, jet skis, and so much more including land activities. Tons of shopping too. I highly recommend this villa.

Nice view, but that’s about it.

We are very disappointed with our stay here. It’s a private unit in a resort, so don’t expect to much help from the front desk had no answers for us. They kept telling us to contact the owner, who we could not get in touch with, but they gave us a name to a technician. We had to call this technician guy for many reasons, one, the air-conditioning broke, two, There was no hot water, three, the front desk didn’t even know the Wi-Fi password so we had to call the technician and he gave us the Wi-Fi. Basically, it’s just very rundown and poorly run. Lots of bugs, which you can expect in Costa Rica but in a condo type place. It should definitely be cleaner. It just feels like you’re staying in a very old place that has not been taken care of and you can tell that the owner doesn’t care and it’s just taking the money. Another thing that was annoying was there were only used bars of soap, no shampoo. There was even a hair on one of the bars of the soap in the shower. First time this is my first time writing a bad review, and I really don’t do it unless I feel the need, but this place deserves to get a kick in the ass. Don’t stay here, unless you just want a really awesome view which that it definitely certainly has.

Super séjour dans la Villa ! Vue exceptionnelle !

Villa à flanc de montagne avec vue exceptionnelle sur Playa Hermosa ! Super site avec animation, belles piscines, personnel serviable et attentionné, accès à la plage, service de navettes très efficace. Nous avons adoré notre séjour !

Happy New Year

We are Costa Rica residents who stayed for 4 nights over New Year with our two children and friends visiting from UK. . This is a two bedroom villa at the top of Villas Sol so has stunning views from the living area and upstairs balcony. The villa is an end terrace with parking next to it. Both bedrooms have Aircon, fans and ensuite bathrooms with good showers and instant hot water heating. Kitchen is well equipped, bath and beach towels provided. Villas Sol is v secure and has a good shuttle service to the nearby beach. Ginger is one of our favourite restaurants in Costa Rica and is a short walk from Villas Sol reception. There is a good supermarket in Playa Hermosa. We will return.
