About this property

La Casita is a 500 sq. ft. efficiency home "perfect" for one person or a couples retreat. It is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood only 1.5 miles from the Pioneer Woman Mercantile and downtown Pawhuska. The decor will make your heart happy and provide you with all the necessities for a great stay.
The “studio” type house is a very open space with plenty of room for up to 2 guests. The kitchenette is complete with a microwave and refrigerator-great for re-heating those PW leftovers. A Keurig coffeemaker is provided with pods and condiments. There are no pans or “cooking” supplies.
The bedroom area contains a queen size bed, vanity, shower and toilet room.
The home has a new mini-split unit for heating and cooling. Ceiling fans are located in the living room area and bedroom.
Dish TV and wi-fi are provided.
Come stay a night or a month. We will leave the light on for you.
Guest have a private entrance with easy access to covered parking in the rear of the home.
La Casita is located at the rear of another property. I am available if needed and interact with my guests at times.
Self check-in is available.
Located in a very quiet residential neighborhood just 1.5 miles from the Pioneer Woman Mercantile and downtown Pawhuska.
There is no public transportation available around Pawhuska.

Checked into the wrong rental

This rental was better than expected, really perfect for us, but it was a little alarming that the same code unlocked both the main house and this little mother in law suite. Upon check in, I accidentally walked to the main house door, punched in the code and walked right in on another person’s belongings! They may have been there. I don’t know. I left quickly! I felt badly for infringing upon their space and maybe worse knowing that someone else had the code to do the same to us. Fortunately, we were completely spent and slept quite soundly all the same! I’d love to stay here again but definitely suggest changing the system for peace of mind.
