Fabulous house with lots of space and modern amenities
We loved our stay here in North Pole. I was initially skeptical because it was a 20 minute drive from the airport, however it was not a bad drive at all and kinda fun. Check-in process was simple and straight forward. We had no problems checking or checking out. The pictures were spot on and showed everything you would expect to find in the house. What the pictures don't show is the large size of the property and we had a great time looking for the Aurora. According to the University of Alaska Fairbanks Geophysical Institute, the number 1 recommended location to view the Fairbanks Area Aurora is the Chena Lakes Recreation Area which is only about 8.5 miles away from this house. The large space on the property was more than adequate for us to see the Aurora without travelling the additional 8.5 miles. If you ever have travelled to a Aurora viewing spot like Murphy's Dome, then you will be super appreciative to see the northern lights with a bathroom nearby. The house Wi-Fi internet was fast at about 41 Mbs, allowing us to stream on all three TV's, and our devices, without buffering. Our cell phone provider was Verizon and we consistently had 3 bars of LTE service when not connected to the house Wi-Fi. On the negative side the house felt kind of sterile and devoid of character, even with the two bear hides adorning the opposing walls of the main living space which is an oxymoron, I know. We had a great time staying here and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Aurora viewing
Had a great time in Fairbanks. The property was just what we were looking for, and we really enjoyed the great views of the aurora we had while there.

Great trip
The house was overall excellent and we had a wonderful time. It was large, warm and spacious. It had everything we needed for a great Thanksgiving. A dinning room table or coffee table would be a great addition to the house to provide a place to play cards or any of the board games. A few more towels and a back up plan for entering the home would also make the stay perfect.

Very comfortable home.
The home is clean, in a spacious quiet location. The rental had tons of sleeping areas and games. The check in process was a little rough for my stay. The locks were not working which caused us to check in 4 hours late but the owner was in communication the whole time and was able to get the issue resolved. Probably just a fluke, would stay here again.
