Excellent accommodation
We could not fault the apartment. Everything was of high quality. There was all the equipment you could possibly need. A welcome pack of various biscuits, wine and smoothies, bananas and grapes was provided. Some milk to make tea or coffee would be a useful addition.
We arrived around midnight and it was not obvious where the apartment was. Our taxi driver contacted Yacup and we gained entry.
We then contacted Yacup for the Wi-Fi password as we needed to let family know we had arrived. We FaceTimed the following day as we had various questions about the apartment.
Yacup was extremely helpful but the apartment needs an information folder especially for first time visitors to Kalkan. If one is not aware that toilet paper cannot be put down the toilet then this could cause serious and unpleasant problems. The locking system on the doors to the balcony is ingenious but very frustrating while trying to work it out! A folder with all this sort of information including taxi numbers would save a lot of unnecessary phone calls!
The pool area was nice and shady and a large parasol and sun beds are provided. The beds would have been very uncomfortable without mattresses that Yacup provided upon request.
The double bed needs a top sheet to use under the coverlet provided.
The air conditioners are excellent and very quiet. Guests should be asked to turn these off when leaving the apartment or electricity bills are going to be enormous!
