About the host
Your host
We grew up in Portland and know the city inside and out. We are an active, artistic family that likes to experience the great things in life; art, outside adventures, literature, films, cafe society, etc. We love coffee, and animals and believe in a considerate lifestyle.
Why they chose this property
This carriage house is a piece of history. It was originally built in 1904 adjacent to the main property to hold the horse carriage and related horse tack. It has been remodeled into a cute 480 sq ft, two-floor cottage with many original features still intact.
What makes this property unique
This carriage house is located in the trendy Buckman neighborhood a block off of Hawthorne Blvd. There are cafes, pubs, movie theaters, vintage shops, grocery stores, parks, and more all within walking distance.
