Tucked into the trees and sitting right on Echo Lake, this picture-perfect dog- and family-friendly home is the ideal getaway four seasons of the year. Spend the winter skiing at nearby Okemo Mountain Resort, just under six miles away, or head up to Killington, around 16 miles north. In the summer, Camp Plymouth State Park is around a mile away, with lots more hiking and mountain biking trails nearby in multiple state forests. Finally, fall visitors will be treated to a superlative leaf-peeping experience - right from the house.

At home, wake up each morning with coffee outside in the large yard while the kids and family dog play nearby. When it’s time for a refill, head inside to the sunroom, featuring three walls of windows and a comfy futon, perfect for a morning nap. Throughout the home, you’ll find hardwood floors, exposed beams, and a cozy, wood-burning fireplace, ideal for cuddling up with cocoa after a day of snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. The well-equipped kitchen features a full suite of appliances and all the cookware you need to whip up a feast, and the whole family can sit down for a meal together in the adjacent dining room.

Spend the day exploring the lake with the provided canoe, then unwind at home while the washer/dryer make quick work of the day’s clothes. Entertainment options include three streaming-capable TVs and free cable. Those with any lingering remote work will appreciate the free WiFi and dedicated desk space upstairs. End the night outside with a s’mores-making session around the firepit. The lakeside escape you crave awaits - all that’s left to do is book.

great property. Well stocked kitchen.
The house was lots of fun especially the front porch. We were there at the end of August with several rainy days so it was very cool and comfortable. Two of the beds were very comfortable. There are some things that should probably be addressed. The refrigerator top shelf freezes items solid. The hot water is not very hot. The twin beds are somewhat suitable for children. They are very "bouncy." definitely not for adults. There should be a welcoming packet explaining things like trash pick up. We arrived to 4 large barrels packed above full. We had to call Vacasa the management service.(Could not speak directly to owner.) We rolled the barrels to the end of the driveway for Friday pick up and rolled them back Saturday. It took us all week to figure out the TV because there were no instructions. A previous renter had left a small slip of paper with the Wifi password. If they replaced the mattresses, created a welcome packet, replaced the fridge, and turned the hot water up this would be a fantastic property!
