Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay ! The 3 bedroom home is conveniently located in Phippsburg, ME, A perfect home base for sight seeing ! Sebasco Harbor Resort is about 10 minutes away ~ Just 8 miles away from the famous Popham Beach, Hermit Island, and Head Beach, and only 6 miles away from Totman's Cove, 40 minutes to Boothbay~ Close to Bath, Wiscasset & the Brunswick/Harpswell area.

The home is a raised ranch style~ The main level consists of a fully equipped kitchen with Dining Table which seats 6, comfortable living room with a smart tv for streaming, 3 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, and a TV in each room, and the full bath. The exterior door in the kitchen leads out to the screened in porch, as well as the main deck. Such a relaxing spot to enjoy the company of your family/friends after a day at the beach and exploring the area ! The finished basement offers extra couches, sleeping arrangements, as well as an air hockey table. There are board games, cribbage, many DVD's, and cards for your use as well !

The screened in deck is a favorite spot of our guests ! Many enjoy relaxing at the table, spending time with loved ones, eating meals, morning coffee, and maybe an evening cocktail ! The large yard offers a great space to enjoy and just hang out ! Plenty of room in the driveway for 2-3 cars~ We also provide 2 one-person kayaks and paddles for your use. There are life jackets there, but we cannot guarantee a size to fit everyone. You may want to bring your own, or pick one up on the way if you plan to use them. There are also a few beach chairs and towels provided for your use if heading to the beach !

The owners of this home have long roots to the Phippsburg area ~ Their Great-Great Grandfather started in the Lighthouse Service following the Civil War. He served as the Lighthouse keeper on Seguin Island from 1886-1889, with his cousin. They both continued with Lighthouse Service after their time at Seguin, one moving on to The Tenants Harbor Lighthouse, the other to The Cape Elizabeth Two Lights.

Phippsburg perfect

Property was very well furnished, comfortable, clean and roomy. Great place for families. Good location in the middle of the peninsula, so quick to beaches, Bath, and other locations. Good communication with property manager.

Cozy and welcoming

My husband and I stayed while in town for a wedding and we loved it! Sheri provided more than enough info for us. She was very hospitable. The house itself is nestled in the trees in a quiet area, but it isn’t a far drive from restaurants and shops. It’s a cozy home that made me feel nostalgic for family vacations when I was younger. We didn’t take advantage of all the home offers because we were only there for a few days and it was rainy, but there’s a large porch, kayaks, a tire swing, and lots of yard space for family fun. Definitely would recommend to others or come back with more of our family! Only a couple minor things that could be better for future guests: the handles on both the front and back doors were tricky to unlock. We got it eventually, but we definitely had a few minutes where we thought we were locked out. We got in at first through the front door, but the carpet is thick and high enough that the door needs to be shoved in order to open. There were also a few things that could have been cleaner - dusty ceiling fan and spider webs on bathroom lamps. But overall everything else was very clean and there were lots of amenities available for our use in the bathroom, kitchen, and basement!

Escape from reality.

What a stay we had in Phippsburg!! The property was amazing, and we throughly enjoyed watching nature from the screened-in porch. The beach was only a short drive, as well as the Maritime museum, shopping in Bath, and lighthouses. We didn't want to leave!!
